The interiors features a curved dual 10.25-inch display, focused more towards the driver. In front of the digital instrument cluster is the new 4-spoke steering wheel; thin AC vents in sequence with the dashboard design. Below that is the touch-based controls for the HVAC and infotainment system; just like the Verna, the Carnival also has a button to switch the functions of the touch-based panel between infotainment and HVAC.
The centre console looks similar to the EV6 like round dial for gear shifts, cupholders next to it, fixed centre armrest with two cupholders behind, and what not. The second-row features captain seats or bench seats depending on the variants, and the third row features a bench seat. However, if Kia plans on launching the 9 Seater version as well, then there is going to be a 4th row as well. On top, the driver side has single-pane sunroof, and a little behind that is small panoramic sunroof.
Kia Carnival Facelift: Engine Options
In Engine Options, it’s likely Kia won’t introduce the 3.5 L V6 Engine. Instead, it’ll continue with the 2.2 L Diesel Engine producing 197 BHP and 440 NM of torque paired to 8 Speed Automatic Gearbox. However, Kia is also going to introduce a Petrol Engine with the Carnival. Kia has been exploring the hybrid option in India and with the Carnival it would be willing to do it by offering the 1.6 L Turbo Petrol Plug-in Hybrid Engine producing around 240 BHP and 304 NM of torque mated to an 6 Speed Automatic Gearbox.

Kia has been testing the Carnival Facelift in India for a while now, and before the old Carnival was discontinued in India, it was priced from Rs. 29.99 Lakh. So, we expect Kia to price the Carnival Facelift from Rs. 35 Lakhs given India the discontinued version didn’t get next-gen version, but now it directly gets the facelift of that Gen, so that explains it. Kia is expected to launch the Carnival Facelift in the first half of 2024.
