Recently, Kia had updated the Sonet and Seltos by introducing a new variant, GTX in terms of pricing and equipment; moreover, it was position below the GTX+(S) trim in the line-up. But now it has received another big update. Let’s break it down for you.
Kia was missing a turbo variant under Rs. 10 Lakh bracket, and guess what, Kia has introduced an HTK Turbo variant at Rs. 9.60 Lakh with an 6 Speed iMT Gearbox, not standard Manual Gearbox. Apart from that, Kia is also adding features to other variants as well like the HTK trim now gets Wireless Phone Charger, Rear Wiper and Washer, and 16-inch Alloy Wheels. The HTK(O) trim gets rear wiper and washer too; and HTK+ trim gets LED Headlamps. Moreover, Kia has made ISOFIX Mounts standard across all the trims.

Kia Seltos has been updated as well by adding new features to the GTX+ and X-Line variants. Said new features is Solar Glass for both trims while the GTX+ trim solely gets the White Callipers for all four wheels. In a segment with over-crowded SUVs like Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota UC Hyryder, Honda Elevate, Hyundai Creta, MG Astor, Citroen C3 Aircross, Skoda Kushaq, VW Taigun, and upcoming Tata Curvv; Seltos surely appears as the most tech and feature-loaded SUV in the segment.Here’s what Myung-sik Sohn – Chief Sales Officer, Kia India, had to comment, “Constant evolution and customer centricity have been the key to Kia’s success in India.
