Now that the Japan Mobility Show is done, the Maruti eVX has been spotted testing in India for the first time. The eVX is Maruti’s first electric vehicle and was seen testing in Poland first, and this hints that the production version reveal is happening soon.
Although the eVX was spotted in Gurugram with heavy camouflage, certain design elements, such as the silver alloy wheels, have been confirmed. It is anticipated that the production version of the eVX will look closely to the concept initially unveiled at the 2023 Auto Expo and more recently showcased at the Japan Mobility Show, despite some expected modifications for practicality. The SUV is likely to retain its SUV-coupe-like body, characterized by broad haunches that contribute to a low and sturdy stance.Suzuki provided a glimpse of the eVX concept’s interior during the Japan Mobility Show, affirming what was previously suggested by spy shots. The electric SUV features a twin-screen setup, comprising a big infotainment screen and a digital instrument cluster. The interior design is further complemented by vertical AC vents and a new flat-bottom steering wheel, contributing to a modern and tech-forward aesthetic. What does this mean? We do know it measures over 4.3+ Meters in length making it a rival to other electric SUVs like Tata Nexon EV, Mahindra XUV400 EV, and upcoming Hyundai Creta EV.
