Tata after more than a year of testing has finally unveiled both the versions of the Curvv SUV boasting a plethora of features.
Tata currently is the leader in the EV Segment thanks to its range of models in its portfolio like Nexon EV, Punch EV, Tiago EV, and Tigor EV. But now joining the list is the Curvv EV launched today at Rs. 17.49 Lakhs

Exterior Design and Features
The Tata Curvv EV, an all-electric SUV, distinguishes itself with a modern design and unique features, setting it apart from its ICE counterpart. The exterior includes a closed-off front grille, a nose-mounted charger that automatically closes after starting the EV, and vertical styling elements on the lower bumper. The vehicle rides on 18-inch aero-optimized alloy wheels, enhancing its sleek side profile. The rear design remains largely unchanged except for unique badges, and the LED lights at both ends feature a welcoming signature.
The Curvv EV’s exterior design is both sleek and sporty. It features flush door handles, piano black elements on the wheel arches, a shark fin antenna, a roof-mounted spoiler, and silver skid plates. Available in five monotone colors—Pristine White, Flame Red, Empowered Oxide, Pure Grey, and Virtual Sunrise—the EV offers a 500-liter boot space, expandable to 973 liters, and a 35-liter frunk. Tata has introduced Tata.ev Originals, a range of over 60 accessories for buyers to personalize both the exterior and interior of the Curvv EV.
Interior Design and Features
Inside, the Curvv EV shares its layout with the ICE version but stands out with a white and grey dual-tone color scheme, contrasting with the red and grey finish of the ICE model. The dashboard, reminiscent of the Nexon, features a 12.3-inch floating infotainment touchscreen at the center, accompanied by a touch-based climate control panel and trapezoidal AC vents.
The four-spoke steering wheel, similar to that of the Harrier, includes paddle shifters for adjusting regeneration modes. Top-spec models are equipped with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster with navigation. The center console houses a rotary drive selector, a gear lever, and a wireless charging pad. The Curvv EV also features a voice-assisted panoramic sunroof with mood lighting.
Safety and Technology
In terms of safety, the Curvv EV comes equipped with six airbags, electronic stability control, a 360-degree camera, all-wheel disc brakes, ESP with i-VBAC, hill ascent and descent control, and numerous ADAS features like adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, traffic sign recognition, and blind spot detection.

- Range: 45 kWh pack offers 502km MIDC range; 55 kWh pack offers 585km MIDC range. Real-world range: 45 kWh – 330-350 km, 55kWh – 400-425 km.

- Acceleration: 0-100kph in 9 seconds (45kWh); 8.6 seconds (55kWh).
- Charging Capabilities: Up to 150km range in 15 minutes, 10-80% charge in 40 minutes using a 70kW charger. Supports V2L and V2V charging, iRA app integration.
The ICE variant of the Curvv will feature new engine options, including a 1.2L TGDI engine with up to 123 BHP and 225 NM torque, a 1.2L turbocharged engine with similar tuning to the Nexon, and a reworked 1.5L diesel engine offering up to 22.4 km/l fuel efficiency. The diesel engine will also include a DCA gearbox for precise and sporty shifts, marking a first in the mainstream market.
