Kia Motors is readying a new SUV which sits between the Sonet and the Seltos in their SUV line-up. The SUV will not only have multiple powertrains but also more space and comfort and slightly lesser than the Seltos.

The Kia Clavis showcases Kia’s latest Opposites United design philosophy with its bold exterior. This compact SUV features a commanding tall stance, an upright hood, and an aggressive front grille. The Clavis stands out with its stylish diamond-cut 16-inch alloy wheels, with an option for 17-inch wheels for a more dynamic appearance. Measuring approximately 4.2 meters in length, the Clavis offers enhanced practicality over the Kia Sonet, boasting a more spacious interior and larger boot capacity.
Inside the Kia Clavis, you’ll find a blend of luxury and state-of-the-art technology. The cabin is equipped with dual 10.25-inch displays for the infotainment system and a fully digital instrument console, reminiscent of the Kia Seltos. Connectivity is seamless with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The dual-tone dashboard, a new 4-spoke steering wheel inspired by international Kia models, and a panoramic sunroof add to the premium ambiance. The interior is available in full white or full black leatherette upholstery, offering a touch of sophistication.

Additionally, the electric version of the Clavis will feature a battery pack likely between 40 – 50 kWh, offering a range of approximately 450 – 500 KM.
The Kia Clavis is packed with features designed for ultimate comfort, safety, and convenience. Enjoy immersive audio with the 8-speaker Bose sound system, and stay comfortable with ventilated seats and dual-zone climate control. The Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) includes adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and automatic emergency braking, enhancing safety on the road. Kia plans to launch the ICE (internal combustion engine) versions of the Clavis towards the end of 2024 or early 2025. The electric variant is expected to be released in the second half of 2025. While exact pricing is yet to be announced, the Kia Clavis is anticipated to be priced between Rs. 9 – Rs. 17 Lakhs, offering exceptional value with its advanced features and technology.
