Mahindra after having a successful launch of the new XUV3XO were just spied testing not 1, or 2, but 3 electric SUVs together on the highway fully camouflaged with launch expected to start taking place in the coming months.

Mahindra’s 3 New Born Electric SUVs were spied together undergoing tests. These 3 EVs were the XUV.e9, BE.05, and the XUV.e8. All the 3 EVs were fully camouflaged revealing no new details as such, but are expected to launch on the planned dates. The XUV.e9 is expected to launch by April 2025, BE.05 is expected by October 2025, and the first EV based on the XUV700, the XUV.e8 will hit the Indian Market later this year, likely in December 2024.

The XUV.e9 features a coupe roofline with closed front grille, vertically-slack split LED headlamps, and a full width LED Light Strip that spans the whole bonnet. The electric coupe SUV is likely sharing mechanical parts with the XUV.e8. The top-spec trim may get the 80 kWh battery pack with All-Wheel-Drive Function, with power output likely between 200 – 300 BHP, and range between 450 – 500 KMs. The lower variants however is likely to come with 60 kWh battery pack offering less range and power, and limited to Front-Wheel-Drive only. This will be the same case for the XUV.e8.
Both the SUVs inside get three separate displays – one for infotainment, one for digital driver’s display, and one for passenger screen. Other notable features both XUV.e9 and XUV.e8 gets will be 2-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel, gear change lever, vehicle-to-load, Level 2 ADAS, Heads-up Display, Front powered ventilated seats, and so on.
The BE.05 is expected to be fitted with 79 kWh LFP battery pack with 450 – 500 KM Range. It’s dimensions were revealed to be 4370 MM Length, 1900 MM Width, and 1653 MM Height with 2775 MM Wheelbase. So, expect a 205 MM Ground Clearance for the EV. Moreover, BE.05 will be offered with 2WD and 4WD Options with the 2WD sporting a rear-mounted motor producing 284 BHP and 535 NM Torque; while the 4WD will get a dual motors with the front mounted motor producing 108 BHP and 135 NM Torque.
These EVs upon launch will sit above the XUV400 EV in the line-up.
