Tata is set to unleash 3 New Electric SUVs that will be chaotic for its rivals. These 3 electric SUVs features big upgrades over their respective ICE version, and Tata being the first one to electrify its own line-up gives them such a huge headstart. Tata Curvv EV (Expected: H1 2024)
Tata Curvv EV looks similar as the concept like vertically split headlamps, sloping coupe-like roofline that integrates into the connected taillamps. Moreover, it gets new aero-efficient 18-inch alloy wheels and skid plates for the bumpers. From the inside, the Curvv gets a three-layer dashboard with a 12.3-inch infotainment system, 10.25-inch Digital Cockpit Cluster, 2-spoke steering wheel with Tata logo illumination, touch-sensitive controls for the HVAC, and new leather seat upholstery.
Moreover, the Curvv EV is likely built on Tata’s new Acti.ev platform, which means it may have 45 – 50 kWh battery pack with single and dual motor setup to provide 500+ KMs on a single charge. In Features, it’ll have ventilated seats, 360 Surround View camera, Electric Parking Brake with auto hold, Electrically adjustable front seats, ambient lighting, wireless charging, air purifier, Heads-up Display, flush door handles, and so much more. Tata is expected to launch the EV in the first half of 2024.

Tata Harrier.ev and Safari.ev (Expected: Late 2024)
Tata showcased the Harrier EV at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2024, and the model seen was production-ready, but testing of the SUV still continues. The Harrier EV from the outside looks exactly the same as seen last year at Auto Expo 2023. The only difference between the ICE and EV version is the lower air intake grille, and front fascia; the EV features closed grille with vertical-line pattern for lower air intake grille.
The Safari EV will overall look the same as the ICE version except the changes will be limited to front profile, and EV badging bits. Both the electric SUVs will be built on Gen 2 Acti.ev platform, and it’s likely to sport a battery pack between 50 – 60 kWh with single-motor setup for Front Wheel Drive (FWD), and Dual-Motor Setup for All Wheel Drive (AWD), and could offer 500 – 600 KMs range.
Regarding the features, it’ll get Level 2 ADAS, 360 Surround View Camera, Powered Front Seats, Ventilated Seats, 12.3-inch infotainment, 10.25-inch digital cockpit cluster, 10 Speaker JBL Sound System, and plenty more. Moreover, its expected to come with 4×4 Drive Capability with multiple terrain modes.
The Harrier EV is expected to launch in the late 2024, and its possible the Safari EV will launch alongside.
