3 Upcoming New Tata Electric Cars Launching Soon!

Upcoming 3 EVs from Tata!

Tata Motors at the moment has their hands full with launches, and testing. They revealed the Harrier and Safari Facelift with price announcement coming on 17th October. But today, we’ll list down the upcoming 3 electric SUVs from the Tata that’ll be launching soon for the Indian Market.

Tata Punch EV (Expected: November 2023)

Tata Motors is seen testing the EV version of the Punch SUV that sits below the Nexon in the line-up, and through the spy shots, we got many information on how the Punch EV is going to look, and what’s its going to pack. The Punch EV at the front will closely resemble the ICE version with closed grille, and will get new features like the 360-degree camera, electric parking brake with auto hold function, and many more. From the inside, the layout and design will remain the same, except it’ll replace the 7-inch infotainment system with their new 10.25-inch infotainment system, a new two-spoke steering wheel which will illuminate the Tata logo. Tata Motors recently launched iCNG of Punch and in this update, it got single-pane sunroof, and on the EV, its going to have a sunroof as well.

Tata Curvv EV (Expected: Mid 2024)

The Tata Curvv EV from the outside has vertically-split headlamps at the front with a sharp styling with striking, minimalistic, yet future design which Tata calls it as “New Digital Design Language.” It has a sloping coupe-like roofline similar to the BMW X6, or Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 Coupe, which integrates into the tailgate of the Curvv. From the side, it has body cladding, square-shape wheel arches, and rides on 18-inch alloy wheels. Moving to the rear, the connected LED taillamps theme continues and skid plates at the front and rear for bumpers.

From the inside, the Curvv EV gets a three-layer dashboard with a 10.25-inch rectangle infotainment system, full digital instrument cluster which could be same as the one seen in Tata Harrier and Safari, two-spoke multi-function steering wheel, and it has touch-sensitive controls for the climate control. The Curvv EV will be equipped with twin motor setup that enables the all-wheel-drive configuration, and could give range somewhere close to 500 KMs in a single charge.

When it comes to Features, Tata Curvv EV will have features such as Level 2 ADAS, ventilated seats, 360-degree camera, panoramic sunroof, six airbags, electric parking brake with auto hold function, 10.25-inch infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, leather seat upholstery, LED Projector headlamps, Wireless Android Auto/Apple Carplay, Electrically adjustable front seats, ambient lighting, 18-inch alloy wheels, wireless charging, air purifier, and flush door handles.

Tata Harrier EV (Expected: Early 2024)

Tata Motors few days ago revealed the ICE Harrier Facelift, and the design changes they made were inspired directly from their own concept SUV, Curvv. Although they had revealed the Harrier EV at the Auto Expo 2023, it’s still possible it’ll undergo design changes. Notably, Tata was endorsing the EV with 4×4 capability, which the recent revealed ICE Harrier Facelift isn’t endorsed with that. At the Auto Expo 2023, the EV design was similar to the ICE version like the connected S-style LED taillamps. The front face was covered with body-coloured element that had lines on it, and different alloy wheel design for improved aerodynamic efficiency.

The interiors will be the same as the ICE version such as the 12.3-inch infotainment system, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, four-spoke steering wheel with tata logo illumination display, touch-sensitive controls for climate control, panoramic sunroof, and more. It could sport single motor setup for either Rear-Wheel-Drive or Front-Wheel-Drive Type, or twin motor setup enabling All-Wheel-Drive which could be good for 4×4. We can expect it to have range of 500+ KMs.
