Four new mid-size electric SUVs are set to make to launch for the Indian market, introducing a plethora of new features and technologies. Tata Curvv has been testing the Curvv for a while and it looks almost same as the concept like vertically split headlamps, sloping coupe-like roofline that joins into the connected taillamps. Moreover, it’ll have new aero-efficient 18-inch alloy wheels and skid plates for the bumpers. From the inside, the Curvv gets a three-layer dashboard with a 12.3-inch infotainment system, 10.25-inch Digital Cockpit Cluster, 2-spoke steering wheel with Tata logo illumination, touch-sensitive controls for the HVAC, and new leather seat upholstery.Moreover, the Curvv EV is likely to come with 45 – 50 kWh battery pack and offer single and dual motor setup to provide 500+ KMs on a single charge. The Maruti Suzuki eVX debuted at the Auto Expo 2023 last year, and then few months ago,almost production-ready concept was showcased at the Tokyo Motor Show 2023. Now, the 5-Seater Electric SUV has been spied testing in India for a while now and it reveals new details like the new connected X LED DRLs, LED headlamps underneath the DRLs, chunky bumpers, new aero-efficient alloy wheels, and connected X LED Taillamps. The interiors features dual-tone dashboard, seamlessly integrated 10.25-inch displays for infotainment system, and digital instrument cluster. The eVX is expected to be equipped with 55 – 60 kWh battery pack to offer 500+ KMs range on a single charge with single motor and dual-motor setup. It’s also worth noting that the eVX will come with 4×4 drive type to have the SUV capable for off-roading. Moreover, in features, it’ll get 360 Surround View Camera, ADAS, Front and Rear Parking Sensors, Powered Driver Seat, Panoramic Sunroof, and so much.
Hyundai has finally launched the ICE version for the Indian Market but now it also wants to launch the electric version as well. The electric version of the Creta has been spotted testing many times with the pre-facelift design in India, however, in Korea, it was spotted with the new facelift version body with front changes like the connected dual L-shaped DRLs and Taillamps, new seamlessly integrated 10.25-inch dual displays, closed grille for the EV, and so on.Rest in features, everything will be the same like ventilated seats, electric parking brake, ADAS, 360 Surround View Camera, and so on. Toyota few weeks ago had unveiled the Urban Electric SUV concept which anyone will come to know that its a rebadge Maruti Suzuki eVX. The front profile of the SUV will be similar to its Crown SUV (sold internationally) while rear resembles the Maruti eVX. It’s expected Toyota will also offer single and dual-motor configuration in two-battery packs and claim range of around 550 KMs. Toyota is expected to reveal the production version of the SUV in mid 2024 with launch taking place in the late 2024.It’ll have features like dual-screen 10.25-inch displays for the infotainment system, and digital instrument cluster, ventilated seats, electric parking brake with auto hold, 360 Surround View Camera, 6 Airbags, Front and Rear Airbags, Powered Driver Seat, panoramic sunroof, and so much more. It’s also possible that it may come with 4×4 off-road capabilities.
