The 650 platform lineup is expanding with the introduction of the Classic 650 Twin. Recently trademarked and spotted in test runs across India and Europe, this new model is poised to make a significant impact. It will utilize the same frame as the Super Meteor 650 and feature an unchanged powertrain to maintain performance consistency. To keep costs affordable, the Classic 650 Twin will be equipped with conventional telescopic forks at the front and a twin shock setup at the rear. The taillight assembly will be a redesigned version of the Classic 350’s, differing from the other 650 models. Additionally, it will have LED headlights but may omit the tripper navigation display to control pricing.
The Guerrilla 450 is set to be the roadster variant of the Himalayan 450, with its launch imminent as recent spy shots reveal it in a near-production state. This model will share the Sherpa 450 engine with minor tweaks to match its roadster profile, along with the same chassis. However, the spy shots suggest new and different mechanical parts compared to the Himalayan. The Guerrilla 450 will feature 17-inch alloy wheels with road-focused tires, telescopic forks with fork gaiters at the front, and a unique body panel and fuel tank design. It will also have a single-piece seat.
The upcoming Royal Enfield Scrambler 650 was spied numerous times undergoing testing on the International and Indian roads. The Scrambler 650 will feature spoke-wire wheels, elevated ground clearance, and most likely an extended wheelbase with longer-travel suspension. Distinguishing itself from the other 650cc in the Royal Enfield’s and its rivals portfolios, the Scrambler could sport dual-tip exhaust system while harnessing all the power from the parallel-twin 648cc liquid-cooled engine. We could expect it to launch in the Late 2024.
