This year, the Indian Market will see the launch of 4 new Electric SUVs that has great exterior and interior design, but moreover, these EVs pack hi-tech features and performance that is worth waiting before buying any other vehicles. Tata Curvv EV (Expected: H1 2024)
Tata Curvv has been spied testing on the roads with design similar to concept version like vertically-split headlamps, sloping coupe-like roofline integrating into the tailgate of the Curvv. From the side, it has body cladding, square-shape wheel arches, 18-inch alloy wheels with aero-efficient design. Lastly, the rear features connected LED taillamps and skid plates for the bumpers.
From the inside, the Curvv gets a three-layer dashboard with a 12.3-inch infotainment system, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster with navigation maps, 2-spoke multi-function steering wheel, touch-sensitive controls for the HVAC, and new leather seat upholstery. The Curvv EV is likely to come with 45 – 50 kWh battery pack and offer single and dual motor setup to provide 500+ KMs on a single charge.
In Features, it’ll have ventilated seats, 360 View Camera, panoramic sunroof, six airbags, Electric Parking Brake with Auto Hold function, LED Bi-Functional Headlamps, Powered Driver Seat, Ambient Lighting, 18-inch Alloy Wheels, Wireless Charging, Air Purifier, Heads-up Display, ADAS, Flush Door Handles, and so much more.
Tata is targeting first half of 2024 for the Curvv EV Launch.

Mahindra XUV.e8 (Expected: December 2024)
Mahindra was seen testing the XUV700-based electric SUV, XUV.e8 which is said to launch in December 2024. The XUV.e8 will look slightly different over the ICE Version of XUV700 like closed front grille, slightly different bumpers, and tweaked taillamps. Moreover, the EV will get triple-screen layout for the luxurious experience with size likely to be of 10.25-inch. This triple screen layout is focused on three elements – one for co-passenger to watch Netflix and other stuff, center infotainment system for EV details, and the digital instrument cluster.
It could sport a 50 – 60 kWh battery pack to offer range of 500+ KMs. The XUV.e8 will compete with the upcoming Tata Harrier.ev and Safari.ev. More details of the electric SUV should be made public soon in the coming months.
Hyundai Creta EV (Expected: Late 2024)
Hyundai will also launch the Electric version of the Creta as many times it has been spotted testing with its current outgoing version in India, however, in Korea, it was spotted with the facelift version body with front changes like the connected dual L-shaped taillamps will be also be the front face of EV. Rest in features, everything will be the same like ventilated seats, electric parking brake, ADAS, 360 Surround View Camera, and so on.
Moreover, the EV will be equipped with a battery pack between 45 – 50 kWh with single and dual motor setup giving range of 500 KMs. On its launch, it’ll compete with the upcoming Maruti eVX due for 2024 launch as well.
Maruti Suzuki eVX (Expected: Late 2024)
The Maruti Suzuki eVX debuted at the Auto Expo 2023 last year, and then few months ago, almost production-ready concept was showcased at the Tokyo Motor Show 2023. The 5-Seater Electric SUV comes with new connected X LED DRLs, LED headlamps underneath the DRLs, chunky bumpers, new aero-efficient alloy wheels, and connected X LED Taillamps. The interiors features dual-tone dashboard, seamlessly integrated 10.25-inch displays for infotainment system, and digital instrument cluster.
Moreover, in features, it’ll get 360 Surround View Camera, ADAS, Front and Rear Parking Sensors, Powered Driver Seat, Panoramic Sunroof, and so much. It’s also worth noting that the eVX will come with 4×4 drive type to have the SUV capable for off-roading.
