Tata and Mahindra are both set to launch new electric SUVs for the Indian market before March 2025. Tata’s upcoming electric SUVs are the Curvv and the Harrier, while Mahindra will introduce the XUV3XO and the XUV.e8. Here’s everything you need to know before their official launch –
Tata Curvv EV
- Exterior Design includes front closed grille with grille pattern of ICE version, LED DRLs covering the front bonnet lip, vertically-split LED headlamps, new 18-inch alloy wheels, connected taillamps, coupe roofline and dual-tone bumpers.
- Interior includes 12.3-inch infotainment system, 10.25-inch Digital Cockpit Cluster, 4-spoke steering wheel, panoramic sunroof on top, ambient lights for cabin, and touch-sensitive panel for HVAC Control.
- Based on Platform: Tata Acti.ev
- Dimensions: 4.3 Meters in Length, 2.6 Meters Wheelbase, and 408 L Boot Space.
- Battery Specs: 45 – 50 kWh; Range: 500 – 550 KMs; FWD & AWD Option
- Features: Front Ventilated Seats, Heads-up Display (HUD), 12.3-inch Infotainment System, Powered Seats, Electric Parking Brake, Level 2 ADAS, 360 Camera, and more.

Mahindra XUV 3XO EV
- Exterior Design will be reminiscent of the ICE version with few notable changes like new 16-inch aero-efficient alloy wheels, closed front grille, and new bumper design – front and rear.
- Interiors will be same as the ICE version but may get additional styling bits to highlight EV.
- Based on the INGLO EV platform.
- Dimensions will be more or less the same as the ICE Version.
- Battery Specs: 30 – 40 kWh; Range: 350 – 400 KMs
- Features: Dual-Zone Climate Control, Panoramic Sunroof, Ambient Light, Wireless Charging Pad, Level 2 ADAS, and more.
- Expected Price: Rs. 10 – Rs. 15 Lakh

Tata Harrier EV
- Exterior design closely matches the ICE version except the front grille design will be body panel with horizontal linings; slightly different air intake design; and EV badging on the front fender and tailgate..
- Interior design will resemble the ICE version.
- Based on Acti.ev platform.
- Battery Specs: 50 – 60 kWh battery pack; 500 – 550 KMs Range; FWD or AWD Drive-type; 4-Wheel-Drive for off-roading.
