Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder ADAS Trim (Expected: H1 2024)
Maruti was all set to introduce ADAS earlier this year for the Grand Vitara, but for some reason, that plan was never executed this year leading to a delay. However, it’s being reported that Maruti indeeds plans on introducing a new trim for the Grand Vitara which will have ADAS for sure as well as some new features that is likely to be the Electric Parking Brake with Auto Hold function. The same applies for the Toyota Hyryder as it’s just a rebadged model and would receive the same treatment. We should be getting an official update from the brand soon in 2024.
Nissan Kicks Facelift (Expected: 2024)
The Nissan Kicks is getting a facelift and we expect a 2024 launch for the SUV. Nissan had discontinued the Kicks in India, but still it had some amazing features like the 360 Surround View Camera, 8-inch Infotainment System, Projector LED Headlamps, traction control, lumbar support for driver, 17-inch alloy wheels, and so much more. The SUV was offered with 3 Engine Options – 1.5 L 4 Cylinder Diesel, 1.3 L Turbo Petrol, and the 1.5 L Petrol Engine.
In the facelift, there will be major exterior and interior changes like new V-shaped dark chrome grille, heated ORVMs, new almost connected LED taillamps that is separated by the Nissan logo, black finish around the bumpers, and so on. Inside, it gets speakers in the headrest, new 7-inch Digital Instrument Cluster with Analog Speed-o-meter, red-stitching on the upholstery, and so much more. In India, it remains how many new features it’s willing to offer but some them are likely make its way for the Indian Market like ventilated seats, heated ORVMs, powered driver seat, air purifier, 6 Airbags, and could get ADAS as well.
The test mules are yet to be spotted in India, but we should get more official information on the SUV in 2024.
