1. ADAS.
2. One touch up/down for all windows.
3. All Wheels Disc Brakes.
4. Powered Driver Seat.
5. Remote Engine Start.
The first feature missing is the ADAS from Tata Nexon. The Sonet gets ADAS with function like Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Avoidance Assist, and so much more, but Tata decided not to offer as they felt it isn’t a requirement at this point and if there is demand for it, they might consider it. The 2nd feature missing is the One touch up/down for all windows. Well, cost-cutting is done by every brand, and since many carmakers aren’t offering this feature, Kia decided to do it with the Sonet.
The 3rd feature Missing is the All Wheels Disc Brakes. Other than the Mahindra XUV300, Kia Sonet became the 2nd SUV to come with disc brakes for all wheels but on the Nexon however, Tata offers Front Discs and Rear Drum brakes only. We know the importance of emergency braking and with disc brakes the braking distance would be somewhat very less compared to drum brakes. Next missing feature is the Powered Driver Seat. The seat adjustment on the Nexon have to be made manually, while on Sonet you can electrically adjust exactly the same you want.
Last but not the least, Nexon doesn’t get remote engine start. On the Sonet, the SUV can be started from the key while on the Nexon, you have to be inside the car, then push the start button to power the engine.
