Mahindra launched the XUV3XO on 29th April, 2024, and guess what, it’s the first SUV in its segment to offer Panoramic Sunroof. It’s available with the AX7 variant which is priced between Rs. 12.49 – Rs. 13.69 Lakhs. This variant has two engine options – 1.2 L Turbo Petrol with 129 BHP, 230 – 250 NM Torque; the other is the 1.5 L Diesel with 115 BHP and 300 NM. Both have 6 Speed Manual and Automatic Gearbox Options.
The Astor in its segment is the most affordable SUV to get Panoramic Sunroof. This variant is powered by 1.5 L Petrol Engine delivering 108.50 BHP and 144 NM Torque mated to 6 Speed Manual and 7 Speed CVT Gearbox. It’s priced between Rs. 14.61 – Rs. 15.88 Lakh.
The Creta had received facelift update in January 2024 with some big changes which was making it fall back in competition in terms of modernisation. Hyundai corrected those mistakes with facelift update. Anyway, Hyundai is the third SUV who offers panoramic sunroof from the S(O) variant which is priced between Rs. 14.36 – Rs. 15.86 Lakhs.
Kia’s Seltos SUV is an SUV which also got a major overhaul in terms of design as well as in features. Kia offers panoramic sunroof from the mid HTX variant which many consider it as a value for money variant. The HTX trim gets 3 Engine Options – 1.5 L Petrol with 6 Speed Manual, and 7 Speed IVT; 1.5 L Turbo Petrol with 6 Speed Manual and 7 Speed DCT; and 1.5 L Diesel Engine with 6 Speed Manual and Automatic Gearbox. It’s priced between Rs. 15.30 – Rs. 18.22 Lakhs.
Maruti’s first-ever Mid-size SUV has performed exceptionally well. Maruti offers Panoramic Sunroof in the Alpha variant which is priced between Rs. 15.51 – Rs. 17.17 Lakhs. What makes it even better is that in the segment, Maruti’s Panoramic Sunroof opens quite more like both the pane goes a bit behind to bring inside more airy feeling.
