Tata on August 7th unveiled both the ICE and EV version of the Curvv. However, only the EV version was launched as they want people to opt first for EV then the ICE. Anyway, the ICE version will launch on September 2nd and here’s what it gets –

Features-wise it gets front ventilated seats, powered tailgate with gesture control, powered driver seat, 12.3-inch Infotainment, 10.25-inch Digital Cluster, Panoramic Sunroof, Level 2 ADAS, Electric Parking Brake with Auto Hold, and so much more.Expected to be priced from Rs. 10.50 Lakh to Rs. 19 Lakhs

The MG Windsor EV features a sleek and minimalist design with flush door handles and full-width LED light bars at the front and rear. Inside, the cabin is almost button-free, with controls managed through three digital displays powered by LingOS 2.0, offering a connected and modern user experience.
Battery Options:
Luxury features include front ventilated seats, a panoramic sunroof, and a unique “Sofa Mode” for added comfort. Safety is ensured with six airbags and advanced braking systems.
Expected to start under Rs. 20 Lakhs, the MG Windsor EV will compete with the Tata Curvv EV, Nexon EV, MG ZS EV, and Mahindra XUV400 EV in India.

The Hyundai Alcazar facelift has been spotted in striking monotone red and black colors. Inspired by the Santa Fe, it features H-shaped LED DRLs, quad-beam headlamps, a large front grille with chrome slats, faux skid plates, new 8-spoke alloy wheels, and Palisade-inspired vertically positioned LED tail-lamps. The facelift includes Level 2 ADAS with radar and camera modules. Inside, it offers dual 10.25-inch displays, a new HVAC panel, a center console with wireless charging, and an electric parking brake.The panoramic sunroof and new upholstery options enhance the cabin. Engine options include a 1.5L NA petrol, 1.5L turbo petrol, and 1.5L diesel, with 6 Speed MT / AT, 7 Speed DCT, and IVT Gearbox. The facelift is expected to add features like dual-zone climate control, a powered tailgate, dashcam, rear sunshades, and potentially heated seats in top trims.
[Launch: October 3rd, 2024]
Kia’s EV9 is a striking 5.01-meter electric SUV, built on the advanced E-GMP platform, and offers an impressive range of up to 541 kilometers. The SUV features a generous 3.1-meter wheelbase and is available with two distinct battery packs:
The EV9 comes loaded with advanced features, including Level 3 ADAS, LED headlamps, Remote Parking Assist, Digital Mirrors, a 14-speaker Meridian sound system, Dual Sunroofs, Heads-up Display, and 2nd Row Swivel Seats in the 6-seater configuration. Additionally, it boasts 3-zone Climate Control, Dual 12.3-inch displays, a Power Tailgate, and a 360 Surround View Camera.
In India, the Kia EV9 will be offered as a limited CBU import, with only around 2,500 units expected to be available. Priced around Rs. 1 Crore, it will primarily compete with the BMW iX in the luxury electric SUV segment.
The 2024 Kia Carnival Facelift has been spotted testing with significant updates. The new design features an upright front nose, wide grille with chrome accents, L-shaped LED DRLs, and a vertically-positioned LED headlamp setup. The rear includes L-shaped tail-lamps connected by an LED light bar and a mixed-material rear bumper. Inside, the MPV will resemble the global model with dual 12.3-inch displays, reworked HVAC controls, rotary drive selector, and optional 14.6-inch rear entertainment screen. Other features include ventilated and heated seats, dual sunroof, KRELL sound system, and various safety systems like 8 airbags and ADAS. The facelifted Carnival is expected to retain the 2.2L 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine, delivering 197.2 BHP and 440 Nm of torque, and will likely meet BS6 norms. Along with EV9, the Carnival will be initially available as a CBU, so expect a Rs. 50 Lakh starting price.
