5 New SUVs from Hyundai Launching Soon for India!

Hyundai Motors is working on 5 New SUVs to launch in India which will not only expand their portfolio of SUVs, but also enhanced them while also making them highly competitive against its rivals. Here’s what you should know about these 5 SUVs –

Hyundai Alcazar Facelift

  • Exterior Design changes include new front grille with three chrome horizontal slats, H-shaped LED DRLs similar o Sante Fe SUV, new 8-spoke design alloy wheels, Creta-like headlamps, connected tail-lamps inspired from Palisade, and updated bumpers.
  • Interior will closely resemble the new Creta while also having Palisade-inspired elements.
  • Based on Hyundai-Kia K2 Platform.
  • Dimensions will be more or less the same.
  • Engine Options:
    • 1.5 L 4 Cylinder Turbo Petrol Engine (157.57 BHP, 253 NM) [6 Speed MT, 7 Speed DCT]
    • 1.5 L 4 Cylinder Diesel Engine (113.98 BHP, 250 NM) [6 Speed MT / AT]
  • Features: New Co-Passenger Powered Seats, Dual-Zone Climate Control, Powered Tailgate, Level 2 ADAS, Heated Seats, etc.
  • Expected Price: Rs. 17 – Rs. 22 Lakh
  • Expected Launch: August – September 2024
  • Rivals: Tata Safari, Mahindra XUV700, MG Hector Plus

Hyundai Creta EV

  • Exterior Design almost matches the ICE version except it gets new alloy wheels, closed-off grille and new bumpers.
  • Interiors may look the same as the ICE version.
  • Based on the Creta ICE version.
  • Dimensions will be more or less the same.
  • Battery Specs: 45 kWh Battery Pack (138 BHP, 255 NM) [450 – 500 KMs]
  • Features: Ventilated Front Seats, 360 Camera, Dual 10.25-inch displays, Level 2 ADAS, Powered Tailgate, etc.
  • Expected Price: Rs. 20 – 25 Lakh
  • Expected Launch: Late 2024 – Early 2025

Hyundai Tucson Facelift

  • Exterior Design will undergo big changes like revamped front grille, new skid plates, all-new alloy wheels, redesigned rear profile.
  • Inside, few changes are made like dashboard is redesigned to accommodate curved panoramic dual 12.3-inch displays, tweaked centre console, new steering wheel, and new upholstery for cabin.
  • Based on Hyundai-Kia N3 Platform.
  • Dimensions will be more or less the same.
  • Engine Options:
    • 2.0 L Diesel Engine (184 BHP, 416 NM) (8 Speed AT) (FWD, 4WD)
    • 2.0 L Petrol Engine (154 BHP, 192 NM) (6 Speed AT) (FWD)

Next-Gen Hyundai Venue

  • Exterior design could take inspiration from the new Creta in terms of front fascia, tail-lamps, and other styling elements.
  • Interior however will feature free-standing 10.25-inch infotainment system with digital instrument cluster from the Creta; new upholstery for cabin and redesigned dashboard design.
  • Based on Hyundai-Kia K1 Platform.
  • Dimensions will be the same as before.

New Fronx-rivaling Hyundai SUV

  • Exterior Design could have elements taken from its other siblings like Verna-like connected DRLs, Creta-inspired front fascia, 16-inch alloy wheels, new connected tail-lamps inspired from the Venue, etc.
  • Interior Design could be different unlike the other SUVs such as dual 10.25-inch displays – one is free-standing infotainment and other is the Fully Digital Cluster; Exter-like panel for Automatic Climate Control, Single-Pane Sunroof on top, fabric or leatherette upholstery for cabin, ambient lights for cabin, and so much more.
  • Since it’s a crossover SUV, it’ll be based on the i20.
  • Dimensions will likely be sub 4-Meter Length, 1.6 Meter Width, Height of 1.6 Meters, and a 2.5 Meter Wheelbase.
  • Engine Options:
