5 Things About the Toyota Fortuner 2024 That You Should Know!

Toyota will be launching the Fortuner facelift in India by 2024 and is expected few changes and that will be welcomed the most. Therefore, you should know these 5 things about the upcoming Fortuner 2024 –

New Design

Toyota could change the front face of the Fortuner with a new grille that would look similar to the Toyota Tacoma sold overseas. A hexagon pattern grille with outside grille shape as the hexagon, and the LED headlamps could be much more sleeker and few cuts and creases on the bonnet for a sporty. From the side, it’ll have the same design, and at the rear don’t expect it have any more changes as well.

Mild-Hybrid tech

Toyota had confirmed that the Fortuner will be getting hybrid treatment. The upcoming Fortuner will be based on he TNGA-F platform that underpins Land Cruiser LC300 and Lexus LX500d and can incorporate the hybrid engines. Yoshiki Konishi, president of Toyota Daihatsu Engineering and Manufacturing, had confirmed the next generation of the Fortuner would be a hybrid powertrain. Toyota could possibly pair the hybrid tech with the 2.8-litre turbocharged diesel engines.

New Features

Toyota could add new features in the upcoming next-gen Fortuner such as a bigger infotainment system, possibly, 10.25-inch unit, a digital instrument cluster, and a refreshed layout for the dashboard. Other than this, the Fortuner continues to have features like the ventilated seats, cruise control, cooled glovebox, 2-zone climate contol, electric adjustable seats, powered tailgate, and much more.

Increased Safety

In Safety, Toyota offers Fortuner with seven airbags, ABS with EBD, Traction Control, Vehicle Stability Control System (VSC), Limited Slip Differential and much more. However, it could increase the safety features by adding 360-degree camera, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Automatic Headlamps, and Tyre-Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).

Price and Launch

The Current Fortuner starts at Rs. 32.59 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes all the way up to Rs. 50.34 lakh. Toyota had confirmed the global premiere of the new Fortuner will be in 2024 and will most likely make it’s way to India by the end of 2024.
