Kia Sonet Facelift (Expected: Early-Mid January 2024)
Kia unveiled the Sonet Facelift globally from India earlier this month, and it has undergone major changes over the pre-facelift version. It new gets tri-cube LED headlamps, L-shaped LED DRLs that frames across the headlamp unit, new bumpers, new fog lamps horizontally positioned on the bumper, and new alloy wheel design. The interior has some changes like the new updated 10.25-inch infotainment system, new LCD screen below the infotainment that displays climate control, new fully digital instrument cluster, and new seat upholstery.
It has features like 360 Surround View Camera, 4-way Power Adjustable Driver Seat, Level 1 ADAS, ventilated seats, Front and Rear Parking Sensors, 10.25-inch Fully Digital Instrument Cluster, and Infotainment System, 7 Speaker Bose Sound System, Air Purifier, Ambient Lights, and so much more. The SUV comes with 3 Engine Choices – 1.2 L Petrol with 5 Speed Manual, 1.0 L Turbo Petrol with 6 Speed IMT & 7 Speed DCT Gearbox, and 1.5 L Diesel with 6 Speed Manual / IMT / Automatic Gearbox.
Kia will be launching the Sonet Facelift in January 2024 with expected price of Rs. 8 Lakhs.

Hyundai Creta Facelift (Launch: January 16th, 2024)
Hyundai will be launching the Creta Facelift on the January 16th, 2024. The SUV will undergo tons of changes like the front profile features L-shaped LED DRLs which are connected by the LED light bar, positioned above the big grille. It’ll get updated bumpers, redesigned tailgate and split unit vertical LED headlamp design and cube like detailing, and updated front grille. It’ll also get new alloy wheels for the 17-inches and 18-inches.
Jumping to the interiors, it’ll get new 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster, updated 10.25-inch infotainment system, Tucson-like touch-sensitive AC controls, Alcazar like dashboard, new seat upholstery, new Verna-like 2-spoke steering wheel, and more. In Engine Options, the Hyundai Creta will continue to sport the 1.5 L 4 Cylinder Petrol, and the 1.5 L 4 Cylinder Diesel Engine.
However, Hyundai will introduce a new engine for the Creta which we have seen it in the Alcazar, and the Verna. The 1.5 L Turbo Petrol Engine which produces 157.57 BHP and 253 NM of torque paired with the 6 Speed Manual, and 7 Speed DCT Gearbox. The Creta already comes with features like ventilated seats, 8-way powered adjustable driver seat, wireless charging, ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof and so much more.
We now have confirmed list of features. It’ll get 360 Surround View Camera with front and rear parking sensors, heated seats, possibly co-driver powered seats, and Level 2 ADAS with features same as the 2023 Hyundai Verna such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Monitoring System, and many more.
Mahindra XUV300 Facelift (Expected: Early 2024)
Mahindra after months of testing the XUV300 Facelift is all set to launch the SUV in the early 2024, possibly in the month of February 2024. The SUV will undergo many of changes from the outside and the inside like the exterior will see new LED headlamp unit with C-shaped Dual-functional LED that works as DRLs and Indicators, new rectangle black element on the grille, new bumper design, and flat bonnet for increased visibility. The side profile remains the same except for the new alloy wheel design. The rear will feature new LED taillamps and a LED light bar for a connected light sequence
Inside, it’ll get revised dashboard design to cater the free-standing 10.25-inch infotainment system, new 4-spoke steering wheel and digital instrument cluster, thinner AC vents, redesigned centre console, and new colour for leather seat upholstery. In Engine Options, it’ll continue to be offered with 1.2 L Turbo Petrol and 1.5 L Diesel Engine with no change in power output and gearbox choices. Moreover, the SUV will feature panoramic sunroof, Level 1 ADAS, ventilated seats, wireless charger, and so much more.
Hyundai Alcazar Facelift (Expected: Early-to-Mid 2024)
The new Alcazar Facelift will closely resemble the Creta facelift like L-shaped LED DRLs connected by the LED light bar. The grille design may be slightly different from the Creta to avoid any confusion, updated bumpers, the tailgate has been redesigned, gets connected LED tail lamps, and split unit vertical LED headlamp design and cube like detailing. As for the alloys, it’ll get new design for the 18-inch wheels.
Moving to the interiors, the resemblance will be parallel, like the dual 10.25-inch displays – one for infotainment system, and for digital cluster, redesigned dashboard will sleeker AC vents, and new seat upholstery option as well. The 2nd row might get new captain seats upholstery design to enhance the feeling. Rest of it will remain the same. In Engine Options, the Alcazar will continue to be powered by the same 1.5 L Turbo Petrol and the 1.5 L Diesel Engine.
The Alcazar will be getting new features similar to Creta like heated seats, possibly co-driver powered seats, powered tailgate, and Level 2 ADAS with features same as the 2023 Hyundai Verna such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Monitoring System, and many more.
We expect Hyundai to launch the Alcazar Facelift to launch alongside the Creta Facelift or in the first half of 2024 with expected price of Rs. 17 lakhs.
Kia Carens Facelift (Expected: Late 2024)
Kia once it’s done with the Carnival and Sonet Facelift launch in 2024 will shift its focus towards the Carens Facelift which is also expected to launch near the end of 2024. Recently, Kia launched the X-Line Edition which was exclusive to 6 Seater trim only, and it got a new Rear Seat Entertainment Unit, and two-tone Black and Sage Green theme for the interiors. Other than that, it got full matte black treatment for the exterior.
However, the facelift update, it’ll be getting new front and rear profile which would be Carnival-inspired while the interiors will most likely remain the same. However, it’ll be getting a new 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster same as Seltos, and new upholstery for the dashboard and the interiors. In Engine Options, it’ll retain the 1.5 L Turbo Petrol with 6 Speed IMT and 7 Speed DCT, and the 1.5 L Diesel Engine with 6 Speed MT / IMT / AT, and the 1.5 L Petrol Engine with 6 Speed MT only.
It’ll be getting new features like 360 Surround View Camera, Panoramic Sunroof, Powered Seats for Driver, powered tailgate, and most importantly, the Level 2 ADAS.
Mercedes-Benz GLS Facelift (Launch: January 8th, 2024)
The GLS Facelift will undergo cosmetics changes over the outgoing version like four horizontal slats in the grille that has silver shadow finish, new front bumper with black surrounds and air inlet grilles, three horizontal block patterns on the new tail lamps at the rear, and new 20-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels finished in Himalayas Grey.
Jumping to the inside, it has more changes like the facelift now has the biggest MBUX Infotainment System – dual 12.3-inch displays, glossy brown lime wood trim, permanent low speed 360 Surround View Camera, two new leather colours – Catalana Beige, and Bahia Brown. Moreover, the Engine Option on the current GLS – 3.0 L 6 Cylinder Diesel Unit for the GLS 400d and the return of the 3.0 L 6 Cylinder Petrol Engine with both having the 9 Speed Automatic Gearbox Options along with the 4MATIC 4-Wheel-Drive standard for both variants.
The outgoing version is priced at Rs. 1.31 Crore for the Diesel while the discontinued Petrol version was priced at Rs. 1.21 Crore. Mercedes-Benz is going to hike the price of all the model across it’s line-up and therefore we expect the GLS Facelift to start from Rs. 1.50 Crore.
Mercedes-AMG GLA Facelift (Expected: H2 2024)
The GLA Facelift undergoes exterior changes like redesigned front apron with AMG logo on the bonnet, headlamps and taillamps has been tweaked with slightly revised design replacing the cluster shape, body-painted wheel arches, and new 20-inch alloy wheels as standard with 21-inch wheel as option. The cabin gets very minimum changes like new AMG Performance steering wheel, MBUX UI gets enhanced AMG-specific interface and now supports Wireless Apple Carplay / Android Auto.
Moreover, it gets USB-C Type Port for fast charging, new upholstery for the sport seats, and an option to have the AMG-Performance Seats. As for Engine Options, it’ll retained the 2.0 L 4 Cylinder Turbo Petrol producing 301.73 BHP and 400 NM of torque paired to 8 Speed AMG SpeedShift Gearbox. It can sprint from 0 – 100 KMPH in about 4.3 Seconds at a 270 KMPH Top Speed. Race Mode is standard while the power to all 4 wheels is transferred by the 4MATIC+ AWD Drive System.
The SUV gets AMG Torque Control which distributes power to the front and rear axles as well as the left and right rear wheels. It’s expected to launch in the second half of 2024.
