The Indian market is gearing up for the launch of eight new SUVs that aim to directly challenge the dominance of the Hyundai Creta. Here’s an overview of these upcoming SUVs:

Maruti was all set to introduce ADAS variants last year for the Grand Vitara, but for some unknown, that plan was never executed leading to a delay. However, it was being reported that Maruti indeeds plans on introducing a new variant for the Grand Vitara which will have ADAS with Level 2 Functionality, along with slew of ADAS features like Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, Forward and Rear Collision Warning, and more; it’ll also surely get some brand new features which is likely to be the Electric Parking Brake with Auto Hold function. We should be getting some sort of update later this year.

Skoda has confirmed the Slavia and the Kushaq will receive facelift update in 2025, but before that it’ll get added features in their version like 360 Surround View Camera, Front Parking Sensors, and more. When it gets the facelift update, the Level 2 ADAS will be present in both the models. Moreover, the front and rear profile of both the Skoda models will feature tweak in design. The Engine Options however will remain the same, no new or tuned engines. By the time their facelift launches, expect these to compete aggressively against its rivals than how its currently performing.
Just like the Skoda Slavia and Kushaq, Volkswagen will also do the same with its two models. Although there will be a gap between both brands launch, expect both the models to share the same features, and upgrades similar to the Skoda Kushaq / Slavia Facelifts.
Renault has confirmed the arrival of its new Duster for the Indian Market in 2025. Interesting point to note is that the Nissan will also launch their version of the Duster and while we only got a front profile glimpse of the SUV in the teaser like connected L-shape LED DRLs with a light bar, and aggressive lower front profile. Both the SUV will have a parallel launch in 2025. It’ll be available in 5-Seater version along with a 7-Seater Derivatives. Expect features such as 360 Camera, Digital Cluster, Off-road gear like terrain modes, All-Wheel-Drive (AWD), ADAS, and so much more.
