Kia has been working on a new product that will probably be positioned in the middle of Seltos and Sonet. It is anticipated that the New Kia Clavis, code name AY, will launch globally in India in 2025.
New Kia Clavis: What to Expect?
Design & styling:
The brand-new Kia lifestyle SUV, the Clavis (AY), will have a contemporary, tall body style with a number of unique features and styling cues shared with the Kia Soul offered in foreign countries.
Most likely to have sharp vertical tail lamps united by an LED bar, resembling the new generation of Kia cars, and vertically positioned LED headlamps with a thin DRL bar up front.
It will also have a panoramic sunroof and a unique alloy design. Along with ADAS technology, we can anticipate a new dashboard design from Kia that includes a touchscreen infotainment system and a tonne of connecting functions.
Powertrain:
It seems likely that Kia will introduce the Clavis EV version before the ICE version. Most likely, Kia will debut hybrid technology in the Clavis.
The Kia Clavis is anticipated to come with three different powertrain options: a 1.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine, a 1.2-liter normally aspirated petrol engine, and a 1.5-liter diesel engine similar to other Kia models.
Providing a variety of gearbox choices, including a 7-speed DCT, an IMT, and a 5- or 6-speed MT.
