In the upcoming weeks, Mahindra will launch a new petrol automatic version as an extra option for its entry-level MX model.
Mahindra is set to provide a new automatic transmission option for the XUV700 Petrol MX, which is currently available. To outperform its rivals in its class, the XUV700 entry-level model will come equipped with an automatic variant. It will have the same halogen system, 17-inch steel wheels, and a comparable design language with no revisions.
There will be a new 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, electric windows, armrests, tilt, and telescopic steering wheel inside, in addition to a 7-inch instrument cluster. The same 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine, which generates 197.13 Bhp and 380 Nm of peak torque, will power it. Now it will be available with a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
Expected to go on sale for Rs. 15.85 lakh (ex-showroom), the new XUV700 MX petrol automatic will provide customers with a new automatic variant at a lower cost. In the following weeks of February, this will be formally unveiled.
