Times Now shared a video on their Twitter profile showing a red Mahindra NuvoSport SUV driving on the wrong side of the road. The driver seems to be intentionally targeting people on the roadside with bricks and sticks. The footage captures the dangerous driving, with the driver trying to run down people while they retaliate by throwing objects at the car. The video, seemingly recorded by someone at the scene, reveals damage to the SUV’s rear windshield and dents on the rear door, along with minor damages to the front.

Reports suggest that the incident took place in North Delhi near Signature Bridge. Ram Chand, who owns a nearby eatery, filed a complaint with the police. According to him, two men in the NuvoSport SUV refused to pay Rs 5 for two glasses of water, leading to an argument and physical assault. The situation escalated, resulting in the reckless driving captured in the video. Fortunately, it appears that the driver did not manage to hit anyone on the road.
The police have filed a report about an incident where a Tata Nexon SUV crashed into a wall. They are looking for the people involved, but no arrests have been made yet. The owner of the SUV is Mohd. Habib. This isn’t the only case of such incidents in Delhi NCR. There have been other cases where drivers, when stopped by the police, sped off with officers on the car’s bonnet. This is happening less now because of more surveillance cameras on roads.
In this situation, the driver should have just paid the fine instead of making things worse. Using violence for a small issue was not needed. It’s important to stay calm while driving and not get angry to avoid such problems. If something like this happens, it’s better to inform the police instead of taking matters into your own hands.
