MG is gearing up for the launch of its next electric vehicle, Comet EV, based on it’s sister company Wuling Air, which is scheduled for next week, and ahead of the launch, it has teased another look at the EV.
Anyone looking for a small car that would take less space and looks cool as well, the MG has an EV for you. MG will be launching the Comet EV next week and MG has been releasing teasers of the interior of the Comet EV. Now, MG has revealed the dual-floating displays where both will be 10.25-inch displays which are similar to the one’s seen on the newly launched on Verna and Mahindra’s XUV700. The infotainment system has Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and the user interface is different from the other MG cars. MG Motors revealed that the infotainment system will have voice commands feature to make it easier for drivers to access certain features without getting distracting while driving.
Many features can be controlled from the steering wheel which as iPod-inspired controls as seen in the image. It further reveals that the Comet EV will have HVAC unit with three round knobs to control their function. We can also see it has horizontal AC vents that has sleek design. Other than that, the Comet EV will have the dual-tone interior option, drive modes, electric parking brake, and reverse parking camera as well. It will have two battery pack – 17.3 kWh and 26.7 kWh which will give range of 200km and 300km at a top speed of 100 kmph and 106 kmph.
