Baleno Facelift- FEATURES
First of all, exterior features updates includes LED projector headlamps and new machined dual tone alloys.LED projector headlamps will be on offer right from the Delta trim.UV cut glass will be removed from Zeta and only be limited to Alpha model.Smartplay infotainment system will be an updated one with all the connectivity options.For the base variants, Maruti keeps 2 DIN music system with electrostatic buttons.
Baleno Facelift- DESIGN
Minor cosmetic updates will be made to the facelift Baleno.Upfront it will feature a 3D pattern grille which looks more stylish now.The projector headlamps will be replaced by LED projector headlamps for the top variant.Fog lamps housing have become slightly more angular.Other than this, Changes to the side are made in the form of new machined alloys which will be in black-silver finish for top trim along with redesigned bumpers and tail lamps.
Baleno Facelift- SAFETY
In order to comply with new safety rules, Maruti will increase the standard safety features of Baleno.Apart from Anti-theft security system, ISOFIX child mounts, Central locking, Driver side seatbelt reminder, it will get ABS with EBD, high speed alerts system and reverse parking sensors as standard fitment.No other major safety feature will be added.
Baleno Facelift- INTERIOR
Interior of the Baleno Facelift will get features updates.Leather wrapped steering wheel will be offered in Alpha variant.Black and blue dual tone upholstery will be used along with the same being used on the door pads.In present Baleno, silver or grey accents are used on AC vents and auto ac system.But this time darker silver accents will be used around certain elements inside the cabin.Other than this, infotainment system and driver instrument console will also be updated.
Baleno Facelift- SPECIFICATIONS
As it is a facelift version, no changes in dimensions of the hatchback will be made.It will continue with same length, width and height of 3,995 mm, 1,745 mm and 1,510 mm respectively.Ground clearance of Baleno Facelift will be 170 mm.Bootspace will be same as earlier 339 litres.With a fuel tank storage of 37 litres, it gets a turning radius of 4.9 metres.Tyre size varies between 15 and 16 inch according to the variant you buy.

Baleno Facelift- PETROL
Baleno Facelift Petrol engine is a 1.2-litre VVT 4-cylinder motor making figures of 83 BHP @ 6000 RPM and 115 NM @ 4500 RPM.It will be paired to a 5-speed manual and CVT gearbox.It churns out fuel efficiency of 21.74 kmpl.Maruti will introduce petrol hybrid in Baleno, Swift and Dzire in early 2020.As of now, there is no word whether Maruti would bring Baleno RS in its facelift.

Baleno Facelift- DIESEL
The Diesel engine on Baleno Facelift will be the same as earlier.It will be the old tried and tested 1.3-litre Diesel engine making 74 BHP of power and 190 NM of peak torque @ 2000 RPM.It will be paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox.Mileage of Baleno diesel will be 27.39 kmpl.This Diesel engine will be discontinued in 2020 as the price between BS-VI petrol and diesel variants will grow to around Rs. 2.5 Lakhs.

As we know, the fuel efficiency of Maruti Cars have always been best in class.The mileage of Baleno Facelift petrol will be 21.74 kmpl while the ARAI certified fuel economy of diesel Baleno Facelift is 27.39 kmpl.As there are no changes made to the engines on offer, simultaneously no increment in mileage of the car will be made.

Maruti Suzuki Baleno Facelift is expected to get a price increment of Rs. 6,000.The difference in price of the old and facelift will be minimal.At this new price, Sigma petrol will start at Rs. 5.5 Lakhs and the Alpha 1.3 L diesel going upto Rs. 8.6 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom).
Baleno Facelift- LAUNCH DATE
According to latest news, Baleno Facelift is expected to be launched in India on January 29, 2019.Bookings for the facelift Baleno are already open.Like earlier, it will be sold through Next dealerships.Deliveries of the car will start from February 2019 onwards.
