Before the official launch of the new Maruti Suzuki Swift, the car has started arriving at the dealerships showcasing changes over the international-spec model.
The new Swift has arrived at the dealerships before its launch on May 9th, 2024 revealing key changes over the international-spec model. The front grille undergoes slight change like it doesn’t feature rectangular radar module in the top of grille, it’s just a hexagon pattern grille. The second change is on the side profile featuring new alloy wheel designs. Other than that, the car looks exactly the same as the international-version.

From the inside, its identical to other Maruti Cars like Baleno, Brezza, Fronx, etc. such as Analog Instrument Cluster behind 3-spoke Steering wheel, new free-standing 9-inch Infotainment System with Wireless apple Carplay / Android Auto, below it in HVAC control panel with LCD screen, dual-tone theme for dashboard, AMT Gearbox, two cupholders in front, and wireless charging pad ahead of it. The rear seats split in 60:40 ratio, and you get rear AC vents.
Other than that, the new Swift will come with new 1.2 L Z12E Petrol Engine producing 81.8 BHP, 112 NM Torque mated to 5 Speed Manual (MT), and Automatic (AMT) Gearbox, which gives you mileage of 25.72 KMPL. It’s also worth noting the car will come with 6 Airbags as standard, Wireless Charger, Rear AC vents, USB Type C Ports, and top variants will get LED Fog Lamps.
The new Swift upon launch will rival the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, Tata Tiago, and Citroen C3.
