Tata Motors is already preparing the next update for the Curvv SUV, following its EV launch in August and ICE debut in September. This update is likely inspired by feedback from current customers and insights from potential buyers eagerly anticipating fresh additions.
Tata Motors is set to expand the Tata Curvv lineup with four new variants by December 2024. This development comes shortly after the Curvv coupe SUV’s successful launch, reinforcing Tata’s commitment to offering diverse and competitive options.
While official announcements are awaited, industry experts speculate the introduction of CNG variants and Dark Edition models. The Curvv CNG could feature the 1.2L Turbo CNG powertrain from the Nexon CNG, delivering 99 BHP and 178 Nm torque. Initially, it may be available with a 6-speed manual transmission, with automatic variants expected later.
The Dark Edition is likely to adopt a black-themed exterior and interior, targeting the Creative and Accomplished trims.
Both EV and ICE versions of the Tata Curvv are expected to receive these updates, broadening its appeal to a wider customer base.
The Tata Curvv EV is presently offered in seven variants, while the ICE model boasts 34 options. With the upcoming additions, the range will cater to even more buyers, solidifying the Curvv’s position in its segment.
The existing powertrains for the ICE and EV versions will remain unchanged. The ICE variants will continue with the 1.2L Turbo Petrol (Revotron and Hyperion) and 1.5L Diesel engines. The EV version will retain its 45 kWh and 55 kWh battery packs, offering a range of up to 585 km.
Feature offerings will also remain the same, with highlights such as a 12.3-inch infotainment system, powered tailgate, panoramic sunroof, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, powered driver seat, ventilated seats, and Level 2 ADAS. These updates will ensure the Curvv remains a highly desirable offering in its segment.
