BS 6 Mahindra XUV500 has been priced between Rs. 13.2 Lakhs and Rs. 17.7 Lakhs.
After upgrading Alturas G4, XUV300 and KUV100 NXT to BS 6, the prices of BS 6 Scorpio and XUV500 have been revealed.Scorpio has got a number of changes in its transition to BS 6.Bookings for all the BS6 Mahindra car models are already open and updated Scorpio, XUV500 will be launched once the lockdown is lifted.
Which engines, variants of Mahindra Scorpio has been discontinued from BS 4 to BS 6?
- The Base W3 variant of XUV500 which was launched last year has been removed from the lineup.
- The price increase from BS 4 to BS 6 has been between Rs. 29,000 and Rs. 32,000.
- Automatic option available in W7, W9 and top end W11(O) has been removed while it is expected to make a comeback on a later stage.
Also last year only, Mahindra discontinued the 2.2 litre turbo petrol engine available in G AT variant and four wheel drive variant option offered with Diesel engine option.
Under the hood, the 7 seater Mahindra XUV500 gets 2.2 litre mHawk Diesel engine with 153 BHP of power and 360 NM of peak torque.It gets paired to 6 speed manual gearbox with claimed fuel efficiency of 15.1 kmpl.
