Maruti Ciaz was launched in india in 2014.Maruti’s Ciaz has been one of the premium products of Maruti Suzuki.Ciaz debuted in india with 1.3L DDiS Diesel Engine with SHVS and 1.4L K-Series Petrol motor.But in recent years,Maruti found Ciaz to be underpowered as compared to it’s rivals.
As this would be a facelifted version,only some minor cosmetic changes here and there will make way for New Ciaz.Dimensions are likely to remain unchanged.Talking about front profile,Ciaz Facelift 2018 gets dual tone bumpers with all new designed fog lamp housing,along with chrome inserts.Upfront,we get a wide glossy black grille with chrome inserts which makes the sedan more appealing.The sedan might get LED DRLs in it’s facelifted model.Ciaz facelift would offer 16-inch dual tone silver-diamond cut alloys in it’s top model.Not much has changed in it’s rear section.You get dual tone rear bumpers too.New combination LED taillights will make the car sportier from the back also.Also Read:Top 10 Things you need to know about New Ertiga
The cabin of 2018 Ciaz will only some minor upgradation in plastic material and designs and pattern of seats.The seats may offer better lumbar support in it’s facelifted variant.The steering wheels will get buttons for cruise controls.There will be no change in space inside the cabin.Also Read:Top 10 Reasons to Buy Yaris 2018
Ciaz 2018 will get features like Sunroof,Traction controls,Rain Sensing Wipers,New MID with TFT Display,Updated Infotainment System,Vehicle Stability Control and Hill Start Assist.
This time around Maruti will introduce two new more powerful engines.First one will be a new 1.5L petrol motor which would produce 106ps of power and 140nm of peak torque,which is in par with Honda City.Second would be a new 1.5L diesel engine will also be developed by Suzuki replacing fiat sourced 1.3L DDiS engine,which will also power Maruti New Ertiga 2018.Both these units will be powered by 6 speed manual gearbox and AMT transmission.Maruti will also introduce SHVS hybrid in diesel unit.This time Maruti may also launch petrol 1.5L engine with SHVS hybrid technology.

The new 1.5L Petrol Engine is expected to churn out a mileage of around 17.8kmpl.The new 1.5L Suzuki developed diesel engine will give around 25kmpl average.
New Maruti Ciaz 2018 will rival with Hyundai Verna,Honda City and newly launched Toyota Yaris.
Official bookings of new ciaz will start from july 2018.The sedan is expected to be launched by end july or early august.
