Citroen has introduced significant updates to its C3 and C3 Aircross models for the Indian market, enhancing their appeal with new features and improved safety. The updated models now come with LED projector headlamps, auto-folding ORVMs, automatic climate control, and a 7-inch digital instrument cluster. Additionally, both models include six airbags as standard, marking a significant upgrade in safety.

The updated Citroen C3 and C3 Aircross boast several new features designed to improve sophistication, comfort, and safety. LED projector headlights provide improved visibility and modern aesthetics, while auto-folding ORVMs enhance convenience and safety. The automatic climate control system improves cabin comfort, and the 7-inch digital instrument cluster enhances driver information and interface. Most importantly, both models now come with six airbags, significantly increasing passenger safety.
Citroen has also made several exterior and interior updates to the C3 and C3 Aircross. The exterior updates include LED projector headlights, side turn indicators on the ORVMs, and power-adjustable ORVMs. Inside, the models feature repositioned rear window switches, auto climate control, and a digital instrument screen for higher trims.
The updated models retain their existing powertrains. The 1.2 L 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine delivers 81.80 BHP and 115 Nm, while the 1.2 L 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine produces 109 BHP. Both engines are available with various manual and automatic transmission options. While the updated pricing is yet to be revealed, a slight price hike is expected. Previously, the Citroen C3 was priced from Rs 6.16 lakh to Rs 9 lakh, and the C3 Aircross from Rs 9.99 lakh to Rs 14.11 lakh.
The Citroen C3 competes with the Hyundai Exter and Tata Punch, while the C3 Aircross faces competition from mid-size SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Honda Elevate. These updates aim to address past shortcomings and improve Citroen’s reputation in India.
