Citroen India was spotted testing the C3 Crossover Sedan, C3X and not much can be spoken about this crossover sedan as its completely camouflaged. But we have an idea of what changes it could get.
Citroen C3X Spotted: What you need to know!
The upcoming Citroen C3X crossover sedan has been sighted during testing in the city of Bangalore. Citroen currently offers four models in the Indian market, including the C5 Aircross, C3, e-C3, and C3 Aircross. Their primary focus has been on the SUV segments, in line with the prevailing trend for SUVs. However, it seems that Citroen is now exploring a new category, as we can see them testing a high-riding sedan.
This image was shared by @piloton_wheels on Instagram, where a heavily camouflaged crossover sedan can be seen navigating through traffic in Bangalore. Although the car’s design isn’t clear in the image, we can anticipate that it will likely adhere to Citroen’s distinctive design language, which is a hallmark of the French automaker. Furthermore, given that this sedan will share its platform with Citroen’s other SUVs, it’s reasonable to expect that the interior layout will bear some resemblance to their existing SUV models.
As for the powertrains, it’ll likely come with the same 1.2 L 4 Cylinder Petrol Engine generating 108.62 BHP and 190 NM of torque mated to 6 Speed Manual and Automatic Gearbox. Moreover, in features, it’ll likely come with 10.25-inch infotainment system wireless Apple Carplay/Android Auto, digital instrument cluster (like the one in C3 Aircross), manual AC, height adjustable driver seat, Halogen headlamps, two airbags, rear parking sensors, reverse parking camera, and few more.
We should hear more about this sedan near the end of 2023, or early 2024.
