Coming Soon: All You Need to Know About Tata’s Electrified Harrier.

Tata is about to launch a new electric vehicle into the mid-size SUV market, creating a new benchmark for its competitors and providing SUV buyers with more choices.

The New Harrier EV: What to Expect?

Design and styling:

A fully electric drivetrain will be used in the upcoming Harrier. It will probably have a similar layout to the new Harrier, but its design language will have some unique changes. It will have a new bumper design with a vertically positioned LED projector arrangement, similar to the other new generation Tata cars, and a thin bar of LED strip at the borders of the bonnet to give it a distinctive EV appearance. It is expected to get alloy wheels with a new look, along with some minor styling tweaks for the EV at the back.

The new Acti.ev pure EV architecture from Tata, which offers cutting-edge technologies and numerous other next-generation features, will serve as the foundation for the upcoming Harrier EV. A larger floating touchscreen entertainment system, a digital instrument cluster with leatherette upholstery, a premium surround sound system, and perhaps a panoramic sunroof are among the interior changes we can anticipate. There will also be some changes to the dashboard layout. Along with a number of new connectivity features, Level 2 ADAS is going to be included.

Powertrain:

The next Harrier EV will have a longer range and a larger battery. FWD and AWD are the two anticipated versions that will be available. The AWD version, which is ideal for off-road enthusiasts, will have a dual-motor system for outstanding performance. With cutting-edge fast charging technologies, including 150kW DC and 11kW AC fast charging, as well as numerous other contemporary features like V2V and V2L charging capabilities, the forthcoming Harrier EV will likely cover 500–600 km on a single charge.
