In order to strengthen its roots in India,Datsun is going to introduce many new models and upgrades to its older cars in the country.One such upcoming Datsun car is going to be Datsun SUV Go Cross.
Datsun SUV will be based on CMF-A platform,produced under the Renault-Nissan alliance.Datsun Go-Cross will be a sub4-metre compact SUV with pricing less than Rs. 10 Lakhs in India and will carry a crossover design like Nexon.It will be powered by only a single engine – 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine which also is offered in RediGo.No diesel engine will be offered.
The SUV will feature sporty design with good cabin space and seat upholstery.Standard safety features list will include features like Dual Front Airbags and ABS with EBD.
Apart from the SUV,Datsun will be expanding its product portfolio every six months starting with Go and Go+ facelift along with special edition of RediGo.Facelift Go and Go+ get features like revised exterior styling with add-on features like new infotainment system,new front seats,ABS with EBD and 1st-in class safety features including Vehicle Dynamics Control(VDC) and Electronic Stability Control(ESC).
Along with this,Datsun MPV placed below Renault Lodgy will be launched in 2019.Codenamed RBC,the new MPV based on CMF-A+ architecture will get a turbocharged petrol engine.
