Few weeks ago, Ford India had cancelled the sale deal of their Chennai Manufacturing plant with the JSW Group. But now, a filed design patent of the Ford Endeavour seems to suggest it plans on restarting its operation in India.
Ford has filed a design patent of Next-Gen Endeavour in India. Ford had globally introduced the next-gen SUV in 2022; and in some other international market, they are marketing the Endeavour as “Everest.” A big point worth making is that Ford India cancelled their Chennai Plant Sale deal with the JSW Group. The patent filing by Ford in India only seems to suggest that they’re retrying to the establish themselves in the Indian Market.

Additionally, Ford is actively hiring new employees as evident by the job listings posted on social media platform like, Linkedin. The job listings for positions are Senior Engineer – PD (Body Exterior), ADAS Feature Owner, Manufacturing Digital Transformation Integration Architect Manager, AEM Author/Developer, etc. among few others.The next-gen Ford rugged, muscly, and bold stance like C-shaped LED DRLs, large headlamps, hexagon-like grille, skid plates as bumpers, L-shape taillamps, upright hood, and 21-inch alloy wheels.
