Maruti has revealed the fuel efficiency of Fronx!

Maruti had revealed the Fronx at the Auto Expo 2023 in January and since, little bits of information were being made available to the people. Today, it revealed the fuel efficiency of its next NEXA launch, Fronx.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx Engine Options.

Maruti’s Fronx will have two engine petrol engines since it doesn’t have any diesel engine on offer. The first one is the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that puts out 90 bhp and 113 Nm of torque paired to a 5-speed Manual Transmission and 5-speed Automatic Transmission, with the revealed fuel efficiency of 21.79 km/l for the Manual Transmission and 22.89 km/l for the Automatic Transmission. This engine with this fuel efficiency will be available in three variants – Sigma, Delta, and Delta+. The three will have the Manual Transmission option while only the Delta and Delta+ variant have the Automatic Transmission option.

The other engine is 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine that puts 100 bhp and 148 Nm of torque mated to a 5-speed Manual Transmission and 6-speed Torque Converter Automatic Transmission, with claimed fuel efficiency of 21.5 km/l for the Manual Transmission and 20.01 km/l for the Automatic Transmission. This engine will be available in Delta+, Zeta, and Alpha variants with all three variants having the Manual Transmission option but only the Zeta and Alpha variant will have the 6-speed torque converter Automatic Transmission.

Now, only thing left to know is the launch. While, it is said to launch this month in the coming days, but once it launches, it’ll rival the Nissan Magnite, Tata Punch, Citreon C3, and Renault Kiger.
