Honda has decided to not use the name ‘Activa 6G’ anymore
Honda has been in the Indian market for a long time, Honda motorcycles are famous for the quality, fit and finish of the switches. The first generation Activa was launched with a 102cc single-cylinder engine that used to produce 7bhp and this engine used to return a mileage of around 50kmpl, depending on the riding conditions. Now, after the hit of the first Activa with a few changes Honda Launched the Honda Activa 2G and soon after, following the Honda Activa 2G Honda launched the Honda Activa 3G, Activa 4G, Activa 5G and even the Activa 6G. Honda has decided to discard the name Honda Activa 6G. Even though Honda had launched it a few months before, the brand has confirmed that it won’t be using this name anymore. Now, if you are wondering if Honda Activa is going to be discontinued then you are totally wrong. As mentioned above, only the name ‘Acitva 6G’ is going to be discarded, meaning the model number that is ‘3g,4g,5g, and now 6g’ will be discarded. Honda will only use Honda Activa in the upcoming model of the Activa. So basically there won’t be any Honda Activa 7G or 8G in future.
Honda Activa features and powertrain
Talking about the powertrain first, the Honda Activa is equipped with a 110cc single-cylinder engine that produces 7.73bhp of maximum power and 9nm of maximum torque. The engine is mated to a CVT gearbox. Talking about the features, the Honda Activa 6G smart is offered with tons of features that include keyless start, silent starter, idle start-stop system, Side Stand engine cut-off system, Combi brake, LED headlights and taillights.
