Honda recently revealed the name for their upcoming mid-size SUV. It’s going to be called Elevate and will be globally premiered from India. Before it launches, you should know these 5 things about the Honda Elevate –
It’s not their first mid-size SUV for India!
Honda before had launched BR-V mid-size SUV during the first-gen Hyundai Creta. This BR-V SUV was the first SUV in its segment to feature three-rows but it didn’t find any success because of its MPV-style SUV and the build quality and equipment not up to the par as its rivals. Honda had also considered launching the HR-V in India, but that plan was eventually dropped. Now, they’ll be launching their second mid-size SUV in India as it was spotted numerous times testing and might give the competition to the Creta that they’re hoping for.
Shares Design Cues with Other Honda Models!
The upcoming Honda mid-size SUV shares its design cue with other Honda models such as the sixth-generation CR-V and the new-gen WR-V revealed last year. From what we can see in the spy shots, it has a flat nose with big Honda logo at the center and sleek LED headlamps similar to the CR-V SUV. At the rear, LED taillamps which look similar to the new-gen WR-V. Other noticeable design cues were multi-spoke alloy wheels, and muscular wheel arches.
