Honda Cars India is preparing to unveil the much-anticipated third-generation Honda Amaze on December 4, 2024. Here’s an exclusive look at the variants, features, and key changes to expect from this compact sedan.

Variants of the New Honda Amaze

The 2024 Honda Amaze will come in three distinct trim levels: V, VX, ZX

Each variant is designed to cater to different consumer needs, balancing between cost-effectiveness and advanced features.

Engine Specs

Under the hood, the new Amaze retains the reliable 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, paired with options for a 5-speed manual or a CVT automatic transmission. This continuity ensures that the Amaze remains a dependable choice for both city commutes and highway drives.

Dimensions

While most dimensions of the new Amaze will stay consistent with the current model, an increase in width by 33mm is expected, enhancing the car’s road presence and interior space.

Feature Highlights

The top-tier ZX variant will boast an array of modern features:

• Full LED Lighting: Including headlights, DRLs, and tail lights for a premium look and better visibility.
• Convenience Features: Rear AC vents, wireless charger, and wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ensuring comfort and connectivity on the go.
• Safety Enhancements: Six airbags, a rear parking camera, and a lane watch camera come standard. Notably, the new Amaze will include an Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) suite, making it one of the safest options in its segment.

While exact pricing will be confirmed at launch, it’s anticipated that the entry-level V variant will be priced slightly higher to the outgoing model. However, expect a premium for the ZX variant, especially due to the inclusion of ADAS, which could push its price above the top trim of the existing Amaze.
