Hyundai Adventure Editions for Creta, and Alcazar launched; What’s New?

Hyundai Adventure Editions for Creta and Alcazar launched
Hyundai launched the new edition for the both the SUV.

Hyundai Motors launched the Adventure Edition at Rs. 15.17 lakh for the Creta, and Rs. 19.04 lakh for the Alcazar.

Hyundai Motors India launched the Adventure Edition for the Creta and Alcazar, and is available only with Petrol engine for Creta while for Alcazar, it is available with Petrol and Diesel Engine.

Hyundai Creta, Alcazar Adventure Edition – What are the Updates?

The main question everyone is asking is why was the Adventure Edition launched for Creta and Alcazar? What’s difference this edition is going to make? Hyundai equipped the Creta and Alcazar with first-in segment feature – Dashcam, that is also available on Exter and Venue N Line SUV, blacked-out grille with black Hyundai logo. Other blacked-out exterior changes includes skid plate – front, side, and rear, ORVMs, 17-inch alloy wheels, fog lamp housing, tailgate garnish (only for Alcazar), and the C-Pillar (only for Creta). Front fenders gets Adventure Edition badging.

The Adventure Edition also comes with new “Ranger Khaki” which debuted on the Hyundai Exter SUV. Other than this, it comes with three color options – Abyss Black, Atlas White, and Titan Grey. The Creta gets two dual-tone colors – Atlas White with Black Roof, and Ranger Khaki with Black Roof, while the Alcazar is available with three – Atlas White, Ranger Khaki, and Titan Grey.

From the inside, all-black is the theme with Sage Green inserts on AC vents, switches, piping and stitching on the seats. Both the SUVs also get special mats and silver foot pedals.

Hyundai Creta, Alcazar Adventure Edition – Powertrains, Price, and Rivals

As mentioned above, the Creta is available only with Petrol variants – SX and SX (O). This variant is powered by the 1.5-litre 4-cylinder Petrol engine producing 113 bhp and 144 Nm of torque mated to 6-speed Manual and CVT Geabox. The Alcazar comes with 1.5-litre 4-cylinder turbo petrol engine producing 158 bhp and 253 Nm of torque while the 1.5-litre 4-cylinder diesel engine produces 113 bhp and 250 Nm of torque. The Adventure Edition in Alcazar is available with Platinum variant with 6-speed Manual only Gearbox. While the Signature (O) variant, the Adventure Edition comes with 7-speed DCT for Petrol, and 6-speed Automatic for Diesel.

Well, well, well, as for the rivals, the Creta Adventure Edition rivals the Lava Blue and Matte Edition of Skoda Kushaq, and GT Edge Limited Edition of Volkswagen Taigun. Other rivals are the Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Kia Seltos, MG Astor, and the upcoming Honda Elevate and Citroen C3 Aircross.

The Alcazar Adventure Edition goes against the Dark, Dark Red, and Adventure Edition of Tata Safari, and other rivals like the MG Hector Plus, and Mahindra XUV700.
