Hyundai Motors has launched the Creta Facelift for the Indian Market with the SUV getting numerous changes from the inside and outside, and some new features as well. So, we thought of comparing the facelift against the SUV that got facelift update in October 2023, the Tata Harrier to see just how both compete against each other.
The new Creta Facelift comes with new robust. exterior design like the new radiator grille, upright hood contributing towards the strong, assertive and distinct road presence, connected Sequential LED DRLs, below that is the split unit vertical Quad-Beam LED headlamp with cube-like detailing, and skid plates as bumpers. The side profile features 17-inch alloy wheel with 5-spoke curvy design, integrated roof rails, and chrome door handles. The rear section now gets new dual L-shape connected taillamps, rear spoiler, shark fin antenna, and hidden wiper with washer.
Jumping to the inside, the Facelift comes with seamlessly integrated 10.25-inch dual displays – one for infotainment system, and one for fully digital instrument cluster. Below the dual displays is the panel to control infotainment system, and dual-zone climate control. The centre console has been tweaked to make it look a little luxurious, then there is illuminated buttons around gear lever for ventilated seats, rotary dial for drives and traction modes; parking camera, two cupholders behind lever, and fixed armrest.
The dashboard has been redesigned with thin AC vents, and dual-tone theme. The rear section is split in 60:40 ratio with center armrest, and 2-step reclining option, ambient lights around the cabin, panoramic sunroof on top, and the SUV gets 8 Speaker Bose Premium Sound System. Moreover, the boot space of 433 L is the same as before, and other changes inside the cabin include lighter colours and copper details.

From the outside, the Tata Harrier has undergone big exterior changes such as the front fascia as been changed completely with changes to the grille, bumpers, and headlamps. A full-width LED strip is above the grille that spans across the front body, an significant features of the Curvv concept. It has ADAS Radar panel at the bottom grille and the camera at the top of the windscreen from the inside. Moving to the side, it has simple look with creasing, thin wheel arches and rides on the new 18-inch alloy wheels. Moving to the rear, changes extend to the bumpers, skid plate, and wrap-around signature connected LED taillamp that from the side resemble the S shape.
Talking about the interiors, the Harrier Facelift undergone some changes as well like the new 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system which is sleek, thinner, and very responsive, new 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster that is configurable, and displays navigation maps while driving, in front of the cluster is the new four-spoke steering wheel with display at the center that illuminates the Tata logo, and ambient light across the dashboard, and around the voice-assisted panoramic sunroof. Below the AC vents, it features touch-sensitive panel to control the dual-zone climate control, and other things.
In front of it is the rotary dial for the terrain modes, steptronic gear shifter, and electronic parking brake with auto hold function. It features an fixed armrest but the space inside is good enough to store two cans. On the leather seats, it features huge adjustable headrests to keep you comfy, and further enhances the luxury appeal. Both the seats are electrically adjustable, and comes with ventilated seats. Moving to the rear, the seats are split in 60:40 ratio, and it’s equipped with 10 Speaker JBL sound system.
