Hyundai Motors India Sales for the month of March is out and it looks the Creta, Venue, and i10 Nios models were the one that contributed a lot in the sales.

Hyundai Motors India did a cumulative sales of 50,600 units in India which is 13.45% year-on-year growth against the 44,600 units in March 2022. Hyundai sold 9 models in March 2023 against the 11 models it sold last year same month. The Creta is leading the sales charts with 14,026 units which is 33.17% year-on-year growth against the 10,534 units it sold last year same month. The Venue is on the 2nd position with 10,024 units in March 2023 which is 8.72% year-on-year growth against the 9,220 units sales in March 2022.
The i10 Nios sold 9,304 units in March 2023 reporting 3.95% year-on-year decline in sales as in March 2022 it sold 9,687 units. The i20 sold 6,596 units in March 2023 which is 40.54% year-on-year growth in sales against the 4,693 units it sold last year same month. The Aura sold 3,774 units in March 2023 which 0.02% decline as in March 2022 it sold 3,775 units with just 1 unit difference. The new-gen Verna sold 3,755 units in March 2023 which is 136.75% year-on-year growth as in March 2022, it sold 1,586 units.
The updated Alcazar sold 2,519 units in March 2023 which is 0.67% year-on-year growth against the 2,502 units it sold last year same month. The Tucson sold 581 units in March 2023 against the 109 units in March 2022 reporting 433.02% year-on-year growth. The Ioniq 5 sold 21 units in March 2023 and sold nothing last year as the Ioniq 5 was available this year after it’s price reveal at the Auto Expo 2023. The Kona EV and Santro sold nothing this year but the Kona EV did sold 2 units in March 2022 and Santro sold 2,494 units in March 2022.

Hyundai Motors India March 2023 sales compared to February 2023, it reports 6.49% month-on-month growth as in February 2023 it sold 46,968 units. The Creta in March 2023 saw 34.59% month-on-month growth against the 10,421 units in February 2023. The Venue in March 2023 reported 0.27% month-on-month growth against the 9,997 units in February 2023. The i10 Nios reports 3.43% month-on-month decline against the 9,635 units in February 2023. The i20 also reports 28.97% month-on-month decline as it sold 9,287 units in February 2023.
The Aura reports 31.67% month-on-month decline in sales as it sold 5,524 units in February 2023. The Verna reports 7889.35% month-on-month growth in sales as it sold only 47 units in February 2023. The Alcazar reports 61.57% month-on-month growth in sales as in February 2023 it sold 1,559 units. The Tucson reports 16.66% month-on-month growth as in February 2023 it sold 498 units. The Ioniq 5 EV, Kona EV, and Santro sold nothing in February 2023.
Hyundai announced the name of it’s upcoming SUV. It’s called Exter and is scheduled for launch later this year as it will directly rival the Tata Punch.
