In February 2024, Hyundai Motors recorded total sales of 50,201 units, which is a great number but still not a good sales as except for Creta; all models reports losses in sales. Prior to this, in February, the new Creta emerged as Hyundai’s top-selling car with 15,276 units sold, followed closely by the Venue as the second best-selling model.

In January 2024, Hyundai Motors India experienced a downfall in sales, with figures going to 50,201 units, marking a 12% growth compared to January 2024 57,115 units. Continuing its reign in sales, the Creta SUV led the pack with 15,276 units, an increase of 16% from its January 2024 sales of 13,212 units. Notably, Hyundai has launched the Creta N-Line with N-specific upgrades such as 18-inch alloys, N-specific gear levels, interior and exterior design, and so much more.
Securing the second position, the Venue recorded decline in sales to 8,933 units from 11,831 units in January 2024, marking a 24% decrease. Hyundai had enhanced the Venue with ADAS features like Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Warning, and Forward Collision Warning. The Exter SUV claimed the third spot, experiencing a fall in sales of 8%, reaching 7,582 unit sales compared to January’s 8,229 units.
The Hyundai i20 followed at the fourth position, witnessing a downfall in sales from 7,083 units in January to 5,131 units in Feb 2024, reflecting de-growth of 28%. The Aura reported decline in sales by 28%, reaching 5,053 units, and the Grand i10 Nios also reports dip in sales by 8%, with 4,947 units sold. The Verna didn’t succeed either as its were sales to 1,680 units from the 2,172 units in Jan 2024.
The Alcazar sold 1,290 units with 29% de-growth over January sales; Tucson sold 157 units, experiencing a slight decrease by 26 units. The electric SUV Ioniq 5 sales were down by 16%, with sales totalling 66 units. Lastly, the electric SUV Kona concluded the list with 86 unit sales, down by 16 units compared to Jan 2024.
