In January 2024, Hyundai Motors recorded total sales of 57,115 units, coinciding with the recent launches of the Creta Facelift. Prior to this, in January, the new Creta emerged as Hyundai’s top-selling car with 13,212 units sold, followed closely by the Venue as the second best-selling model.

In January 2024, Hyundai Motors India experienced a big growth in sales, with figures jumping to 57,115 units, marking a 33.60% growth compared to December 2023’s 42,750 units. Continuing its reign in sales, the Creta SUV led the pack with 13,212 units, an increase of 42.94% from its December 2023 sales of 9,243 units. Notably, Hyundai had launched the Creta Facelift on January 16th, 2024, with huge features such as Level 2 ADAS, a 360 Surround View Camera, Ventilated Front Seats, Powered Seats, and introduced the new 1.5 L Turbo Petrol engine.

Securing the second position, the Venue recorded growth in sales to 11,831 units from 10,383 units in December, marking a 13.95% increase. Hyundai had enhanced the Venue with ADAS features like Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Warning, and Forward Collision Warning. The Exter SUV claimed the third spot, experiencing a modest growth of 9.49%, reaching 8,229 unit sales compared to December’s 7,516 units.
The Hyundai i20 followed at the fourth position, witnessing a significant increase in sales from 5,247 units in December to 7,083 units in January 2024, reflecting growth of 34.99%. The Grand i10 Nios also reported growth in sales by 50.09%, with 6,865 units sold, while the Aura reported increase in sales by 44.70%, reaching 5,516 units. The Verna also saw huge growth in sales to 2,172 units from the 712 units in December 2023.
The Alcazar sold 1,857 units with 91.51% growth over December sales; Tucson sold 118 units, experiencing a slight decrease by 26 units. The electric SUV Ioniq 5 saw a increase of 17.28%, with sales totaling 95 units. Lastly, the electric SUV Kona concluded the list with 102 unit sales, up by 83 units compared to December 2023.
