Hyundai Motors in June 2024 sold 50,103 units with the Creta as always leading the sales chart with 12.78% Year-on-Year (YoY) Growth. Sales compared to last year, Creta is the only model to have a positive growth.
At 1st position as always is the Creta SUV with 16,293 unit sales which is up by 12.78% YoY over last year’s 14,447 unit sales with growth in volume by 1,846 units. Compared to May 2024 sales of 14,662 units, it reports 11.12% MoM Growth. Hyundai is testing the Creta EV and it’s expected to launch in India in January 2025 with identical design, and features.

The Venue at 2nd position is doing a good job with 9,890 unit sales, but over last year’s 11,606 unit sales, it down by 14.79%, but it reports MoM growth by 6.04%. Hyundai will be introducing new-generation update for the Venue next year which will get upgraded features over the existing ones. Exter sold 6,908 units which is down from 7,697 units of May 2024 by 10.25%.

The i20 ever since it got facelift update last year has been performing decently in sales. In June, it sold 5,315 units which is down by 13.75% YoY and up by 2.82% MoM. i10 Nios and the Aura report decline in sales both YoY and MoM with June 2024 sales being 4,948 units and 4,299 units respectively. Verna sales over last year reports decline by 64.41% while also reporting growth by 3.11%.
Alcazar sales are dropping as in June 2024 it reports only 882 unit sales which is 6.57% MoM de-growth and 58.38% YoY. Hyundai Alcazar will be getting a facelift update undergoing major design and interior changes along with some new features addition. It’s expected to launch in September 2024. Tucson sold only 114 units with 56.65% YoY decline and 32.14% MoM Decline.
Ioniq and Kona sold 30 and 0 units respectively. Hyundai has discontinued the Kona EV for the Indian Market due to low sales, and will be replaced by the Creta EV which uses the same battery specs.
