Sales figures for the Hyundai Motors of June 2024 has been revealed, and it reports total sales of 50,103 units over the last year with growth in domestic sales and exports both yearly and monthly.
In June 2024, Hyundai Motors sold 50,103 units domestically which includes sales from models from their portfolio like Creta, i20, Grand i10 Nios, Exter, Verna, Venue, Alcazar, Tucson, and Ioniq 5. Hyundai reports that SUV contributes strongly, accounting for 66% of its domestic sales. Creta, Venue, Exter are still the leading SUVs in sales for the company.

When comparing June’s 2024 50,103 unit sales to last year same period, it reports 0.20% growth. Moreover, H1 CY2024 [Jan – June] achieved total sales of 3,09,772 units which is up from 4.65% over the 2,96,010 units. Notably, the June ’24 sales are up by 1.93% from 49,151 units in May 2024.

Exports in June 2024 is down to 14,700 from the 15,600 units last year with 5.77%, however, it reports growth over May 2024 with 14,400 units by 2.08%. The Exports in H1 CY2024 [Jan – June] were 76,000 which is up from the 69,020 in the H1 2023 by 10.11%.
Hyundai revealed that since the launch of it’s new facelift Creta in January 2024, till June 2024, it sales has reached 91,348 units with an mind-blowing 11% year-on-year growth. This shows the crazy popularity of the Creta that continues to grow in the Indian Market in the competitive SUV Segment.
Here’s what Mr. Tarun Garg, Chief Operating Officer of Hyundai Motors India Limited had to say, “We closed H1 of CY2024 with an overall sales growth of 5.68% Year-on-year (YoY). SUVs have contributed strongly accounting for 66% of our domestic sales. The new Hyundai Creta has been a key driver for Domestic H1 Sales with 91,348 Unit Sold, a growth of 11% over same period last year.”
