The total cumulative sales of Hyundai was 53,001 units which is 5.58% growth over the 50,201 units it sold in Feb 2024. Now, talking about the model-wise sales, the Creta continues to be the top performer for the brand with 16,458 units sales, up by 7.74% from the 15,276 unit sales in Feb 2024.
Hyundai Venue takes the second position in sales with 9,614 unit sales, up from the 8,933 units in Feb 2024. Hyundai last year offered Venue with ADAS update, and Knight Edition which helped the brand increase the B-Segment SUV sales. In 2025, Venue will be getting the next-gen update. Exter at 3rd position reports positive numbers with 8,475 unit sales which is up from the 7,582 units.
The i20 at 4th position holds onto the 4th position with 5,155 unit sales which is up by just 0.47%. The i20 and it’s N-Line version is appealing to the Indian consumers contributing good numbers for the brand. However, Tata is soon launching the Altroz Racer which competes directly against the i20 N-Line, so it may face some tough competition in future.
The Grand i10 Nios and the Aura finished 5th and 6th in the sales with i10 Nios reporting 1.76% growth while the Aura reports decline in sales by 3.36%. The 6th Gen Verna launched last year with some crazy features reports slight growth in sales by 2.14% taking its sales to 1,716 units. The Alcazar also reports 10.08% growth with 1,420 unit sales. The Alcazar will be getting facelift update soon in the coming months.
The Tucson is in the bottom three with its sales in decline from 157 units in Feb 2024 to 110 units in March. The Tucson is soon getting a facelift update in India near the end of this year, could possibly boost the brand sales greatly. Kona EV sold 71 units in March while the Ioniq 5 did 65 unit sales only with both reporting drop in sales.
