Hyundai Reveals the Rear Design of the Punch-Rival Exter!

Hyundai Motors officially revealed the rear look of the Exter SUV and will be feature-loaded!

Hyundai Motors has unveiled the rear design of the Exter as it features H-shaped taillamps with parametric pattern on the element at the center.

Hyundai Exter Rear Design – What you need to know!

The Hyundai Exter SUV rear design features an H-shaped taillamps with parametric pattern on the element at the center with Hyundai logo on it. The bumpers are skid plates and a small roof spoiler with shark fin antenna on top. At the front side, it has a H-shaped LED DRLs connected via a black strip which could possibly be a LED light bar for top variant. Below the LED DRL is the headlamps that is square shape projector headlamps which could be LED for top variants. The Exter rides on 16-inch alloy wheels with a funky design, and from the side, you’ll realize it has an upright stance with dual-tone treatment for the A and B-pillar. The doors seems to be big to accommodate easy in’s and out’s of the SUV.

Hyundai Exter will be powered by the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated engine which powers the Grand i10 Nios, Aura, and even the i20. This 1.2-litre Kappa engine (naturally-aspirated petrol) produces 81.8 bhp and 113.8 Nm of torque mated to a 5-speed Manual and 5-speed Automatic Gearbox. This engine will be E20 fuel ready as well. Hyundai also confirmed the Exter will be getting a CNG fuel option available right from the launch. The 1.2-litre Bi-Fuel (CNG) engine produces 67.72 bhp and 95.2 Nm of torque mated to a 5-speed Manual Gearbox only.

Hyundai Motors is focused on also making this SUV safer for Indian as it has to comply with the Government of India norms which is six airbags, and three-point seat belts standard across all the variants for all passengers. Hyundai Exter will comply with these norms from launch day with promise of offering up to 26 safety features for the top three variants except for the E and S variants. These safety features include Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Hill assist, seat-belt reminders for all seats, ABS with EBD, reverse-parking camera with rear sensors, Dashcam, automatic headlamps, Tyre-Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and many more.

It has other features such as steering mounted controls, Rear AC vents, touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, digital instrument cluster, single-pane sunroof, projector headlamps, wireless charging auto-dimming IRVM, and many more. The Exter has five variants – E, S, S (O), SX, and SX (O) Connect, and will launch on July 10th. The Hyundai Exter will rival the Tata Punch, Citroen C3, Renault Kiger, etc.
