As Hyundai Motor India Limited completed 20 years in this country in this month,Hyundai India has launched the Anniversary Edition of the Indian Car of the Year 2018,Hyundai Verna.This model is based on the top of the line variant of Verna,that is, SX(O).This model is available in two engine options – 1.6L Gamma Dual VTVT Petrol and 1.6L U2 CRDi Diesel engine.
The exclusive features of this anniversary edition are Anniversary Edition Badging, Wireless Phone Charging, Front and Rear Skid Plates, Rear Spoiler and Smart Trunk, Smart Electric Sunroof.This variant also comes with All black sporty interiors along with ventilated front seats.The leather wrapped steering wheel as well as leather wrapped gear knob comes with stylish blue stitching.
Verna Anniversary Edition comes in only two colour options – Marine Blue and Polar White.ORVMs and Shark Finn Antenna are of black colour if you go for Marine Blue colour paint while the Polar White comes with body coloured ORVMs and Shark Finn Antenna.
Hyundai is also offering 2nd and 3rd Year Third Party Insurance on Verna Anniversary Edition.Along with this,Exchange benefits of Rs. 20,000 is offered for both the petrol and diesel SX(O) Anniversary Edition along with Rs. 20,000 Corporate discount.
The price of the anniversary edition of Verna will start around Rs. 11.80 Lakhs for the SX(O) petrol manual variant while SX AT petrol model will get a price tag of Rs. 12.83 lakhs.The SX(O) diesel manual variant of anniversary edition will be priced around at 13 Lakhs(Prices,Ex-Showroom,Delhi)
This anniversary edition will be powered by 1.6-litre petrol engine which is available with both 6 speed manual and automatic transmission churns 123 Bhp of power and 151 Nm of torque.While the 1.6-litre diesel engine manual unit which is paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox produces 128 Bhp of power and 260 Nm of torque.Bookings for the anniversary edition have already begun.
