Hyundai has revealed its April sales figures and it is better than its rivals 

Hyundai has been in the market for a long time, they have observed and understood the Indian market. They launched their first car in the legendary Hyundai Santro in 1998, at that time it was considered as a premium hatchback. The engine was impeccable, and so was the ride quality. Although it didn’t offer many features it had reasonable features. Now, after so many years of sales in India, Hyundai is still standing in a positive position, Hyundai has revealed its April sales, and observing the list it can be said that Hyundai is doing better than its competition.  Let us know more about it in detail.

Hyundai April Sales 

In the April sales figure it can be observed that Hyundai has grown by 12.9% as compared with the 2022 April sales. It can be also seen that Hyundai Verna has a bigger part in this. In detail, Hyundai exported 8,500 units which is unfortunately 30% less than last year’s same month’s 12,200 export. From last year the sales have gone up by 3.5% overall from last year’s April  56,201 units to this year’s 58,201 sales in April.

In April the Hyundai Venue, Hyundai Creta, and the Hyundai Verna are responsible for the great sales figures. 

Hyundai Venue Engine Specifications

The Hyundai venue competes with Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, and Mahindra XUV300. The Hyundai Venue is powered by 3 engine options, starting with the 1.5L Turbocharged diesel engine that produces 113bhp and 250nm of torque, the engine is mated to a 6-speed MT and AT. For the petrol powertrain, Hyundai uses a 1.2L 4cylinder NA engine that produces 82bhp and 114nm of maximum torque. Hyundai also offers a performance-oriented engine that is the 1.0L Turbocharged 3-cylinder petrol engine that produces 118bhp and 172nm of maximum torque. 

Hyundai Creta Engine Specifications 

The Hyundai Creta competes with Tata Harrier, Kia Seltos. Just like the venue the Hyundai Creta is available in 3 engine options, the 1.5L Turbocharged diesel engine that produces 113bhp and 250nm of torque, the engine is mated to a 6-speed MT and AT. the standard petrol engine is a 1.5L NA engine that produces 113bhp and 144nm of torque. The engine is mated to both AT and MT gearboxes. Since it is a bigger car than the Hyundai Venue, it gets a bigger turbocharged engine that is the 1.4L 4-Cylinder Turbocharged engine that produces 138bhp and 242nm of maximum torque. 

Hyundai Verna engine specifications  

The current generation Hyundai Verna is powered by 2 engine options, that is he standard petrol engine is a 1.5L NA engine that produces 113bhp and 144nm of torque. The engine is mated to both AT and MT gearboxes. It doesn’t get a diesel engine but it does get the more powerful engine which is the 1.5L Turbocharged 4-cylinder Petrol engine that produces 158bhp and 253nm of maximum torque.
