Important Alert: Skoda’s flagship EV will debut on February 27th!

Skoda is set to launch its first flagship electric crossover this year, setting a higher standard for potential rivals in its class with a plush, opulent, and performance-focused interior.

New Skoda Enyaq

Exterior Design:

The New Skoda Enyaq, the automaker’s first electric car for the Indian market, will be formally presented on February 27 after making an appearance at the Bharat Mobility Expo recently. All in all, this results in a very angular and elegant crossover design with a powerful presence on the road.

This crossover features the Skoda Signature grille in a newly designed horizontal projector layout, but it also has an illuminated LED grille that gives it a more upscale appearance. From the side, larger, more tastefully designed alloy wheels with dynamic ORVMs mounted on the door panels are evident. With its gloss black bumpers and new LED taillights, it presents a sleek and sophisticated rear end that gives it a commanding stance.

Interior Styling:

We could see an upgraded cabin with plush leatherette upholstery and an interior virtual cockpit. It will have a two-spoke Skoda steering wheel with mounted controls, a digital instrument cluster, and a bigger touchscreen entertainment system in the centre. It’ll include a panoramic sunroof, tonnes of new connected car technology, and Level 2 ADAS for even more safety support. The new Skoda Enyaq is 4.6 metres long and will only come with a two-row seating arrangement. It is built on the MEB (born electric) platform.

Powertrain:

The Skoda Enyaq, which comes in many configurations for international markets, will most likely be offered in India as the Enyaq iv80x, which will come with a potent AWD setup. You will probably receive a 77-kWh battery pack with a max battery power output of 195 PS, generating 261.5 Bhp and peak torque of 425 Nm, along with 545 Km (WLTP) of range on a single charge.

With 0 to 100 kilometres per hour in under 6 seconds for the AWD version and 8.2 seconds for the RWD option, the new Enyaq is probably going to reach a top speed of 160 to 180 km/h. Because of its 125 kW DC fast charging technology, the battery can be charged from 0% to 80% in less than half an hour. In the near future, Skoda may possibly release a performance-oriented RS version of the Enyaq, similar to what it offers globally.

Official Launch:

On February 27, Skoda will introduce the Enyaq, its flagship electric crossover.
